I swear we should have a mass funeral for all these attys. They are really ...... me off man!

Okay I'm on my first BEST CIG atty and the draw is quite hard. I'm on a regular battery now and it's STARTING to ease up some. Maybe they have to be broken in more. I'm going to get it back over to my passthrough and see how long THIS sucker lasts on a passthrough. With 4 dead attys in a week on a passthrough I'm beginning to wonder. NOW all 4 attys were 4075s which I love, but do heat hotter so maybe it was cuz they are 4075s. Let's see how long this one lasts which is not supposed to heat as hot.

Crap!
I was vaping away when my battery died. I simply swapped batteries, and my atomizer was "cold"...tried a different atom, but got the same result...tried a 3rd atom and it worked. Then when I tried the cold atom with a different battery, it worked

Any ideas??

Puff--happens very often--the threading on the battery does not allow fo a connection with the positive contact on the atomizer--it is becoming more and more of an issue with compatability of the treading between the atomizer and the batteries-once you find one that works--keep using that combination---Sun

But what kills me is that we use 5 batts and 4 atoms in mix-and-match fashion, and it has never been an issue.
But now its 3 in one afternoon...and even worse...It was 3pm...on a way to a customers...in slow traffic...and those were all the batts and attys I had in my "pack"...I actually:cry: had to :cry:buy a:cry:pack of analooooooooogs:cry:

Puff--it happens many times when you tighten down the battery to the atomizer and when you tighten down the batteries to the charger--that middle peg on the battery can decompress and the treads on the battery are only press fitted an can sink upward as well--you can try to lift the middle peg on the atomizer with a tweezer, but many times that just does not work. They really are more fragile than they look---Sun

my friend has the same problem with a brand new kit he just got, both batteries light up but no vapor. I am going to try a lil solder on the positive pole (inside the threaded connection where the hole is) to see if it make a better connection and maybe this will solve the problem.

I was thinking the same thing. let me know how that goes for ya?

Sun...I thought about that too. Just not sure if I need to worry about shorting the center pin to the threads. Is that a concern?

Puff you will not cause a short by prying up on that positive contact--the negative is on the outer part of the ring--so it is worth a try---no harm will be done---Sun

It sorta worked. I can get the atomizer to heat, but the batt is now a hard draw...and fades almost instantly. I wonder if I pulled a bit too hard.....

Puff--sounds like you are almost there but not a full connection--pull it out somemore--it will not break---Sun

I pulled and pulled until it was visibly higher than before. It gets the atom hot but is just too hard to draw...
Plus I think i made it worse...now the brass connector is turning in the batt housing.

Hey, i had a batt that wouldn't heat the atomizer and what i did was take a needle nose pliers and take the band off the battery end of the atomizer then i ground off with my wheel grinder in my garage abour .03 off the now brass colored end of the atty.... making the battery screw further down and contacting the atty pole.... works like a champ now.

Puff--how tight are you twisting it down? The battery thread is a real pain to get out of the housing as we take them out all the time for MODS--and you really have to work it to loosen that press fit in the battery to get it out. Try waking that battery thread side down on the floor to get it back in there tight and see if that makes a difference--Sun
