POP * Battery broken?

Sounds more like an atty blow-up than the battery... I've had the "pop-hissss" sound out of a 510 atty dying on me.

So when I go to vap on one of my VK batteries it makes a loud pops and then starts to hiss. The vapor coming out burns my tongue and mouth and kills my throat. Is that normal.
When I extend my index finger and rapidly stick it in my eye it hurts. Is that normal? Anyone got a suggestion?
Common sense...use it.
Throw it away...If any battery makes that pop&hiss...it is not normal and could be dangerous.
And i am sorry to say, but Hammond Egger is right... It burns your togue and mouth and you still ask? C'mon! That is NOT normal and you know it Momba.

Hey, no need to be a jerk to new people. Vaping definitely has a learning curve. I started out with some piece of junk smoke anywhere from the mall and had no idea how any of it worked either.
And FYI, its the New User Forum, and a totally reasonable place to pose the question.
Batteries popping - not normal, batteries shouldn't make any sound. Popping battery is bad news.
Cartos popping - normal if they've got enough juice, if my cartos stop popping occasionally I know it's about time to swap them out.

Sounds more like a dying/burning carto to me, Momba. Do you have another you can try? If they all do this, I'd get rid of the batt.
