Hey and welcome! I'm sure you'll be off cigarettes as soon as you get your juice! (Talking from experience here :D ) I remember when I ordered my first e-cig and didnt know about this forum, I was a complete newb and went back to smoking the next day. Now I purchased a good starter kit and a few bottles of flavoured e-juice. Juice, especially menthol tend increase the vapour production and throat hit by a mile, compared to cartridges. So just wait patiently and you'll see how you won't need analogs anymore :)

Congratulations and welcome.

You don't have to quit smoking, once you find the right juices at the right nic levels and pg/vg ratio, and maybe even a different e-cig, vaping will be more pleasing than smoking. Once you have found what is right for you cigarettes will start tasting bad and you won't want to smoke cigarettes any more.

Hi Don, welcome
I think finding the right liquid is the secret to it.
Once I found the right e-cig and liquid I stopped the cigarettes.
I still smoke one here and there but when I do they just taste nasty compared to my chocolate liquids.
So try several different liquids not just the tobacco ones - some of the others might surprise you.
Good luck.

I wouldn't worry about pg, it's in lots of stuff including toothpaste and food flavorings, it's also the main carrier used in nebulizer treatments! It has been found to be a very power anti-bacterial when vaporized into the air. And yes, it's known to give a better "throat hit" as we like to call it. Give it a shot!

i dont worry about pg anymore .I told my neurologist i was using ecigerettes as i could never quit smoking before and she did not even blink an eye :) I believe most cardiologists and neurologists would rather an ecig then an analog .
Once you find your flavor and enough nic you will be fine .A cig or two while easing in is not a big deal :)

Byggd, keep up with it, it may take a few weeks or months, but if your goal is to stop the cancer sticks altogether, this is the best way to go. I smoked 30 years a pack a day, and after the patches, gum, chantix and all, this is the only thing that worked. Don, just stay with it and good luck!.

ditto ! same for me 30 -35 years on 1.5 pad ...
