Popping sound with the Pro Tank 3

i got my pro tank 3 and noticed that it makes a popping noise a lot of the time when taking a hit from it? My Dad's is doing the same thing. Anyone else having this? Or knows what is causing it? We both changed the coils and still happens.

As long as the coils are working properly, this is probably normal.

I suspect that what you are hearing is the juice as it vaporizes. It has probably always done this with every tank you have, but you haven't noticed it. I don't have a PT 3 yet, but I suspect that due to the dual coils, it makes the sound much more prevalent than before, and thus much more noticeable.

Totally normal, and also desired. It's just the coil heating up the juice in the wick. I love the snap, crackle, and pop that comes a fresh carto or clearo. It let's me know that it is working properly. If you get a gurgling sound, it means that the wick is flooded. If you get no sound at all, either the airflow is impeded or the coil is gunked up.

I get that crackling occasionally too. Usually happens when I sub-ohm. Definitely better than the wick not catching any juice though.

i don`t have a protank III but duel coils will result in double the snap crackle pop sounds and its a good thing.
