I made a quick look and didn't see it posted yet, but might have missed it. Here is a nice article that is mainly an interview with Dr. Siegel, despite the headline.

Really good find. DR Siegel and the others of his stature are critical to the future of this industry. We need dozens more like him being vocal about the truth!

I do wish more medical doctors would speak up. I hear in comments all the time, "my doctor recommended" or "my doctor is pleased with". If these are true statements, I want these doctors to speak up! Surely they have some observations from clinical practice that would be relevant to the discussion.

Ha, right! My doctor actually discouraged me from taking chantix. After talking to him I told him I'd do some reading and then decide. He wrote me a prescription, but told me that if I decided to fill the prescription I had to call his office and inform them so that he would be able to monitor my reaction to the drug. I decided against filling the prescription after talking to him and doing my own research.
