Ok so I have been happily vaping my Reo grand for almost two years (I can't believe it's been that long) and bought my wife a Reo mini as well. I was getting ready for work this morning and noticed that if I touch the black button to vape on my Reo that there is no tension at all. It's like a spring fell out when I wasn't looking. I also can't twist it to lock it without taking the battery out and pushing the silver arm up with a q-tip to put the black knob at top dead center. So......have I broken my Reo and am in need of sending it back in for some touch up? Or what? I wish I could afford to purchase a back up one, but times are tighter then ever, so I am stuck using an old Joye Ego, and a Joye 510 as well until I get this straightened out. I feel lost. My poor cartomizers just don't feel right without my Reo grand beneath them. (I'm still carrying it around to refill my carto's.) thanks for letting me know what I have broken.
Presto.

Sounds like the fireing pin may have finaly given out and snapped or maybe just become disloged. If your comfortable doing it I would remove the bottle and cap unscrew the derlin cover slide the cover off and have a closer look at the fireing pin which runs across the top of the mod from the battery contact point into a plastic ground to the bottom of the drip well. If it's simply twisted or something you may be able to realign it and if its snapped you will probably be sending it off to Maine.

So sorry to hear this! You might try running it under hot water and working the button. Sometimes crud builds up and that will clean it out.

If that doesn't work then a trip to Robert will do it!

Thats actually sounds like a problem that won't be solved by cleaning it.

North is correct it sound just like the firing pin broke or has come unfastened. Sounds like two options, take it apart and look inside if your comfortable doing so. Or send it to Rob to fix up. Chances are good you'll have to send it in even if you take it apart to diagnose but it may be something simple.

I'll try to get it in the mail on Monday. Thanks again Rob. You have made the perfect mod, I only wish my wife was in town soi could steal hers while mine is at the shop (I'm evil like that) she is tired of the mini though and does want a full size Reo like mine one day......so when I get a better job I'll have to look into that. Thanks again for the diagnosis, I kinda figured I had broken that part....

I ended up going to ivape.net's physical store to find something to help me through the time without my Reo. I got to try ALOT of cool stuff and bought a twenty buck Joye tech new ego-t these take the same 18650 batteries the Reo take so they are similar in vape because of the same battery output. I can't tell you how cool it was to be able to walk into an actual vape store. I am so lucky to have that place so darn close, I now have a cheap plastic pv that should last till rob fixes my Reo! And I got to try out a vv mod for the first time today as well, but as rough as I am with my vapors that one would have fallen apart in no time. It was a much better vape then the Joye tech, but twenty bucks more, and much flimsier.".....I'm not taking that chance.
