well i its kinda hard to me to get it from radioshack because the shiping its kinda high and i tought that the RCA would fit , thats actually why i asked for your oppinions

Nforce..if what you mean by fit is the atty would screw into it...the answer is no, trust me, every single connector has been tried before by many that had the same problem. As i said much earlier today, if you are looking for a REAL solution to your problems you should READ through the post i mentioned.

warp1900 - I agree that the term 'hackjob' was derogatory and sad to see.

Secondly, though, doesn't nforcer need a 901 connector, possibly in addition to some RCA connectors ?

Even if one wants to follow the RCA scheme, one needs a 901-RCA adaptor for the atty first, right; or have I missed something?

you are very right kina, he needs at least one connector, i just was assuming he already has one either on a mod he made or, on on of the 2 batteries any starter kit comes with.
Anyway...I figured Nforcer is in Italy or Switzerland maybe?, that is why ordering from radio rats would be outrageous for him. I'm trying to research on European parts to find the same connector he needs if he has no battery available.

Maplin in the UK has the DC jack plug reasonably cheap (certainly nice and solid); not sure if they extend into mainland europe.

The point is that i dont have a connector at this moment and im trying to find that Tipe N connector near my place , not to order it from somewhere where the shipping would be x3 bigger than the atual price of the connector :)

might help if you said where you're at, it's a helpful lot on this board, someone
may live just down your street with a drawer full of those suckers. You can also do a search for "tire valve connector", they're a little more involved to make but you do have cars where you're at dontcha or you can order from nerf who's selling oem connectors, shipping on those can't be much.
The thing about the picture you posted just doesn't look like you'd get the atty screwed on or you'd have to cut down the post that's sticking out of the threaded side of the connector, at least to me, best of luck on your quest.

Nforcer asks if the RCA would fit 901. That seems like a pretty simple yes/no question.

Regards to hack jobs, I did one for 801 from phone jack. Now I am on nerf parts. No chance of going back. It is little difficult to make a nice job building your own bulletproof connector without making a science project from it. Nerf connectors are the way to go for me. Perfect and zero issues. It is also cost effective.

Honestly, when we can get those parts from him so cheap ready to install I think most of the connector threads are kind of moot. They even come with wires soldered. What more can you ask.
