while I save for my reo, I've been thinking than rather sell or have my old gear sit in a drawer, I may be able to modify some attys to be bottom fed.

how would a noob go about modifying an infinite stillare and fasttech magma for use with a reo? is it at all possible or practical? is it worth doing? are there tutorials?

thanks so much for your help!

You dont have to drill it and probably don't want to as the + post lowe grade brass with a bunch of lead in it. All you have to do is push out the + post and cut a small channel in the insater . I used a dremel to do it to mine.

EDIT..There is a BF + post you can get for the omega works on the clone. Whether it will work on your attys in don't know. Its like $15.

Stillare should be fairly straightforward, don't know about the magma. Lately I've been drilling 2 holes, one down each side of the post, from the top of the atty, through the insulator, with a 1mm bit from ebay, just be careful as you exit out the bottom, the flat bit on the bottom of the centre pin will cause some resistance. I haven't actually done a stillare though.

Hey if you are saving for a Reo you could get a blemished from Rob for about $117, but you would have to email him regards availability. You could wait forever if you waited for a blem to turn up on the website, best to email.

I've done the Magma. Ruined one (a clone) by trying to drill out the center post/ insulator. It shorted out. The second one I drilled a hole as tight as possible against the center 510 connector through the deck. Then I used my Dremel to slice a very thin shallow channel into the threaded portion aligned with the hole. Squonks perfectly, no leaking onto the device whatsoever. Screws on and off fine. It is a monster vape and flavor producer!
