Heylo!

I just rebuilt my kayfun tonight and thought it would be fun to see what other people are building.

Please post in this order or at least include these items in your post:

1) What Version kayfun?
2) Build Type (Chimney, Dual, etc)
3) Wire Gauge
4) Wrapping Post Size
5) Number of Wraps
5) Resistance
6) What you like about this build?

As always, photo's are very nice!

Thanks for taking the time to post to this thread!

Nice! How big of a pain is it to fit dual coils on there?

heyo!
running a russian 91%, ehpro kayfun lite plus v2 clone, and cigreen 3.1 kayfun clone all the same build
using 28 gauge kanthal (8 wraps around a 3/32 drill bit)
1.5 ohm exactly
wicking with a large tuft of rayon
straight across(not angled) coil
and i love because it is simple to do and the first build ive done to get the real kayfun level of flavor from my juices
can also handle quite a large range of voltages although higher than 4.9v and provari wont let me fire tho =p
works great on dna 20/30/50 devices at very high wattage although i dont own one

28 gauge kanthal
Husky mini screwdriver smallest size in this set from Home Depot 6 wraps
http://t.homedepot.com/p/Husky-6-Piece-Precision-Screwdriver-Set-246300060/204663493
1.3 ohms
Used the Phillips the first time. That was dumb since I needed the Philips to tighten the posts.
Previously I used a 5/64 drill bit which is popular on here, but preferred the wicking ease of the slightly bigger diameter and I wanted to get comfortable just using my tools for diameters.
Ko gen doh cotton very short wick against the block and a donut of cotton around the coil with chimney on where coil is still visible.
Usually run it 13-17.2 watts depending on my mood.
Easy to build and lasts me well over a day before I need to re wick, and I vape like a chimney.
This was on a svoemesto kayfun lite plus V2 and I keep my airflow screw out.

authentic Kayfun Lite+ V2 with a Science of Vaping V2 glass kit
28 gauge kanthal
3/32 inner diameter using the KKVaptek coil jig, 1mm off deck
7 or 8 wraps, I forget.
1.4 ohms on the nose.
Koh Gen Do cotton using the cotton nest method by crxess

pretty standard build, nothing sexy. but the vape is quite enjoyable and dependable. zero dry hits, zero flooding.

Yes, it is a pain. Probably takes 4xs as long to do then a standard coil but the good thing is once it's installed, it good for a long time. Also this build requires more power, it's only used on my dna mods
