Powdered alcohol approved by federal agency | Fox News

'Bureau spokesman Hogue said the Alcohol and tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau regularly reaches out to the Food and Drug Administration to get determinations on whether a product might be considered "adulterated." If the FDA says the product isn't adulterated, he said the bureau's evaluation centers on whether labels accurately reflect what's in the product.
"Potential for abuse isn't grounds for us to deny a label," Hogue said.'

It's a gateway to {other stuff}, re-normalizes snorting, and a danger to bystanders.

Which is why I never trusted broccoli...

Seriously though, from a PR stand point (not that the vape industry has a PR unit), this is something which can be used.

The whole powdered alcohol, potential abuse thing, not the broccoli.

Child gets ahold of it and eats it all, gets alcohol poisoning, dies. Nothing happens to the industry.

And didn't this already happen with caffeine powder ?

I worked with a guy who claimed that he snorted ....... He was crazy enough that I believed him ...

So if you snort Palcohol, and get a buzz that lasts for more than four hours, should you call your doctor ?

It's possible but completely useless. A shooter is about 30ml so you'd have to vape 30ml to get just one shooter of alcohol. You could instead, vape Everclear 95%, you'd still have to vape a lot and it would most certainly taste extremely awful.

So no, nobody is vaping powdered alcohol, it's just bad idea.
