Have both eGo-T batteries and iTaste MVP 2.0 ones, thinking I did not have a an available AC-DC adapter available (all in use) I temporarily charged my batts using my pc.
My order finally came in and I started using an AC-DC wall adapter, no longer using the pc.
joyetech AC-DC Adapter
Model: joyetech
Output: 5.0V =/ 500mA

As luck would have it I found two adapters not be used around the house;
Google AC-DC Adapter
Model: MST3K-US
Output: 5.1v = 850mA (normal female usb connector)
Have used this one a couple times when charging two batts at once on different house circuits, did not have any problems that I noticed.

Pantech AC-DC Adapter
Model: CNRUSB
Output: 5.0v === 1A (top line before the 1 is a solid line) (normal female usb connector)
Have not tried this one yet, the 1A seems so much higher than the Joyetech.

Are either of these two AC-DC wall adapters safe to use when charging my batts.

Thanks much

The charging cables to the batts are;
eGo-T - normal usb to eGo, rating Input: DC 5v
MVP - normal usb to mini usb, no rating tag/label

The 5v ratings are for the maximum current that the converter can provide. The actual current will be determined by the charger that you plug into it.

I prefer to have all 2 amp wall adapters around the house so i'm not trying to plug a 2 amp device into a 500mA adapter.

That line with the 3 dashes under it is the Direct Current symbol.

The USB plug standard output is 5.0 +-0.25 volts, 500mA minimum. Both of your adapters are OK. The extra adapter mA will not be used unless a charger asks for it (draws it) and it appears both are happy at 500mA or less because that is what the Joyetech adapter is.

You can use any USB wall charger, even if its 5amps. The mod it self has a current limit built in, so it will charge at the rate it was designed for.

Ive charged my MVP2 using Samsungs 2Amp wall charger and a 2Amp car charger with no issues.

You can continue to use your computers USB sockets; USB2 is 500mah and USB3 is 800mah.

Thank you both, heard too many bad stories about using the wrong chargers.
Spirometry, every time I look online for an ac-dc adapter they do not give detailed specs as to output. Do you have a hint where I may find 5v - 2A adapters.
Thanks

The wart has to always be equal to or more then what the device requires.

And your right, many stories about wrong chargers - * chargers* - not the wall warts they are plugged into, this distinction gets lost in most stories
