Greetings,

I just have to stick with my mega and full sized attys with stuffable mouthpieces for now. Perhaps practice makes perfect so I will continue to attempt dripping with different tips until I hit pay dirt. Any suggestions? I only used 3 drips with the delrin tip on the i06 after the initial prime, but ended up with leakage. After the clean up I continued but there wasn't enough juice. (no burnt taste, just a sizzle with no vapor) I then removed the tip and dripped directly to the atty, replaced the tip and received the perfect vape. Tried through the tip again and you guessed it...leakage. After going back and forth a few more times, I decided to stop the madness until I can find a good pairing to my i06:)

Greetings,
SF

I love the i06 myself but the drip tips that are sold with it are a bit of a pain in the ..... I believe the only reason directly attributed to leaky atomizers is over dripping. The problem you may be having is liquid getting caught up inside of the drip tip, which is common. I also had this problem myself.

The liquid would get stick in the tip without reaching the bridge. I would get a sort of dry taste and then continue to add liquid because I thought it may have needed more but in reality when all the built up liquid reaches the atomizer the excess will leak out. I believe if you can find the right size drill bit you can drill out the center of the drip tip so that the liquid will not get congested. This should be the solution to your issues.

Thanks Scorched,
This sound about right, I will follow your suggestion :)

It's IKEN Ry4 pg based
I think I've only had an issue with that juice once. What mod are you using it on?

Edit: I know it seems like a silly/redundant question but the reason I ask is instead of blowing into the drip tip and possibly forcing the juice you have in there out of the atomizer, you can tap the bottom of your mod in your hand to allow gravity to push it down. Was more effective for me this way instead of having to blow, dry hit to pull excess back into ceramic cup, and then vape.

The Provari. I'll try tapping.

Also to do the initial dripping I always prime without the drip tip on and let it sit for about a minute. There's considerably less wicking through the coil of the io6 compared to the traditional 306 but I feel it's just a good habit to have. 4 drops for thin juices and 6 drops for heavy VG juices (over 50% VG)

I wouldn't worry so much about the spring as I would the battery bouncing into the pc board and over time breaking it loose.

I have the provari also and that is what I am using my I06 on with the delrin drip tip. I blow down through the tip but no real hard so it doesn't leak. Mine hasn't leaked yet but I also haven't gotten a pattern down with it.

I have IKV vg based RY4 and it is a lot thinner then I thought it would be so I would imagine the pg base is thinner yet.

Soulflower-there are a couple of glassblowers working on i06 drip tips. Hopefully we will hit pay dirt soon!
When we put a drip tip on atomizer it creates an airlock and when you drip fluid in and no airflow at the bottom end-the juice doesn't quite get to the intended object-the mesh/coil of said atomizer. Ikens tips are a bit narrow which makes it even more difficult. I am sure he must have something in the works to make it better.

He does. We were on a 3 hour call last night and he mentioned it to me. Keep your eyes peeled :D I don't want to spoil it but I really have a great feeling about these io6'.

I figured he would have something in the works-I know without a doubt that he has been unhappy with the tips that were paired with the i06 and be all over it like white on rice. One of the many many reasons I loves me some ikenvape❤
