Praxis mod clone?

Does anyone have information on either the praxis mod authentic or clone?

Rip Trippers reviewed this product on YouTube. It's meant to be the hardest hitting mech mod he has come across thus far - keep in mind he was talking about the stainless steel version (and not the brass). This is due to minimal threading and an innovative firing switch. If I remember correctly, he said it had a .25 voltage drop on a .25 ohm build. I'm stumped that this product doesn't seem very popular - as there are not many reviews for the praxis. The clone comes in copper and surely it must be a straight up beast. But I'm not sure...

Any info...?

I have a clone from reddit group buy. It works, but I'm not very impressed. The button is a pain to get in and out of tube, and the atomizer really needs to have positive pin to stick out a lot. I've other hybrids (SMPL, 49), and although they also require protruding pin, it doesn't have to be that far out as on Praxis. This could be just this clone though.

My friend has it and it hits hard!!! From what I know of Praxis made a Version 2 to update the lock from getting stuck. You definitely have to get use to it but thats what makes it unique. Version 2 has been sold out everywhere and from their posts they mention mid January for restock to the retailers. I cant wait!!

Also...Praxis just made the Derringer Atty most likely going to pick this up tomorrow!

Now does your friend have an authentic or clone? It's interesting because Rip was really impressed w/ the real deal whereas TCombinator is not amused by his clone from Reddit. I'd like to buy the original but if the clone for $30-$40 does the trick then I'm sold on it ..

So the button is difficult to fire or get in and out the tube? Also, do you mean that the clone is not compatible w/ your atomizers? Does it still hit hard?

If you had to recommend a hard hitting mod clone which would it be?

I bought a stainless Praxis clone from eBay (seller was empyreann), was like $40ish. I use it with my Marquis and Plume Veil RDAs, works well (see qualifications below) and sits flush with both. The button isn't too difficult to remove and re-install - if you've watched the Rip Trippers review on the authentic, it gives you a pretty good idea of the type of technique necessary. Also, the hybrid top on my clone appears to be made from stainless steel instead of brass like the authentic.

The only bad thing about my clone that I don't like is that the button doesn't always fire - on mine, I have to press it a certain way to get it to fire. Not sure if the authentic has a similar problem or not.

All in all, I like the mod that I bought - once I figured out the button and how to get it to fire reliably, it hits pretty hard (even on my Marquis, and that's not a cloud-chasing RDA by any means).
