i finally got frustrated enough i switched out the mod today. i like my mod to be simple and easy to use. the button on the praxis is not simple, nor is it easy to use, at least for me. you have to push the side tab just right, but push the whole button up to fire. if the side tab is not pushed right, it will get hung on the edge. if the button is not pushed up hard, it will misfire. after about a week of using it, i though i had hang of it, but today, i'm keep missing the proper contact. not sure why. maybe it's just clone that's having the issue and the authentic is much better.

the mod is good looking, and the button is a great concept, but i like to use my mod to vape, not look at it. put my origen clone on the 4nine clone and i'm much happier. when working properly, praxis hits very hard. harder than 4nine. but the easy of use on 4nine is winning me over tonight. maybe i'll try SMPL. i'll put the praxis clone aside for few weeks and try again later.

I will say, on my authentic Praxis, I have never had an issue with the slide portion of the button catching on anything regardless of how I push it, so I guess maybe that's a fit/finish problem with the clone design. On the issue of how hard you have to push the button, I've occasionally had issues with my authentic like that, but I figured out it was only with one battery. Not sure why, but I just don't use that battery with it anymore. ::shrugs:: Anyway, sorry you've had a bad experience - I've had good experiences with the clones I've had, but they always have their quirks. I agree that the SMPL seems to be an easier-to-clone device, and I hear the A-MOD ones are good, so you may give them a shot if the Praxis clone isn't working out for you.
