A friend of mine made a video of pelicans raising their young on a protected island near here. She visited the island every week for several months to capture the images, then made a slideshow video from her pictures. She'd like to share.

They sure are ugly, by our standards, aren't they? hehe. They think we're ugly, I'm sure. Pelicans look like pterodactyls to me, when they glide along. Even at rest, up close, they look like some sort of prehistoric creature to me.
