Hi, still in process of learning to build properly, until I know for sure the sweet spot, how to do so without dry hits, etc.

I use a few different tanks but the Delta I have not yet rebuilt on because I JUST SO love the taste on t he pre-made coils at 0.5 BUT i KNOW i have to move beyond pre-made on these.

Love the 0.5 but the downside is that it drinks so much juce So, wanting to try even going a bit less sub-ohm on it IF possible?

Building above 0.5 is it possible on this Delta?
If so it still learning, what would be some of the settings to go after?

I have, on hand, only 26 and 28 gauge wire.

If you're using a regulated device the resistance of the coil doesn't factor that much into your juice consumption. Rather, you're set wattage does. A 0.5 ohm coil at 30w should use about as much liquid as a 1.5 ohm coil at 30w.

Ok, of course i am aware that wattage will have some play in all of it but with Delta ll you are supposed to use it between 20-40.
Although most go much higher than I, I only use mine at 23-25 whereas I use my Sub Mini Kanger at 18w and the Delta still drinks juice by the double, at least so I was hoping to, 1) slow it down a bit but 2)....also for other reasons, perhaps find a soemwhat different setting for it so when I rebuild that I dont have to do them at 0.5.

So I guess I am trying to also find out, beyond what you mentioned, and the reason so, if and/or what range of settings would be conidered of for it, away from 0.5 for rebuilding?

Cheers

What device do you have? Can it buck voltage, that is to say, provide voltage lower than the current charge of the battery? If not, then you can't get 18w with a 0.5 ohm coil and building a higher ohm coil would both save you juice and give you more battery time (because with a 1 ohm coil you could actually get 18w, not 30+ as the minimum with a 0.5 ohm coil). However, if you're actually able to get 18w with a 0.5 ohm coil building at a higher ohm won't save you any juice at that wattage.
