Got it today! Amazing in that it is shorter than my PV-1 but uses 18650 batts! Same diameter too! I really like the touch switch and it seems like it hits a bit harder, but that could be me. I really like the threads. My PV-1 was prone to starting to cross thread it seemed. And being a full time dripper, I really like that there is no place for extra fluid to get stuck like on the PV.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the provape but wanted a bigger battery with no extra bulk. Wow, the workmanship is awesome, quality of metals is great, and I really like the heft to it. Caesar you rock, it was worth the wait!!!!

I've had a Precious L for about a month now and Im the same way as you. Love this thing! It is the best 3.7 volt device out there IMO. Ive found that the 1.5 ohm LR atty's get very hot and kind of burn your throat with the 18650 batt. So I went to Ikenvape.com and found some of his new 2.0 ohm LR 510 atty's (normal 510 is at 3.0 ohm) that work perfect with the Precious. You should check them out!

I have been enamored by the Precious since it first came on the scene, but am a man of limited means (my only mods, which include the ProVape-1, are those I've received gratis for one reason or another).

I've never seen the point of any 320 mAh 10440-based mod (including the Precious-S), but if there is a market for it, Caesar is right to go for it. The Precious-M appears to be only slightly larger in size and accommodates the 900 mAh 14500 battery. The M and L each appear to be best in class, but the L stands alone: the simple beauty of the Silver Bullet, but in a much smaller package (and smudge-free, with venting and a cutting edge button). [The eGO and its cousins and the new Elegant infringe a bit on the M. Because of their custom battery (rather than housing for a generic batt) they can be even smaller than the M, while also offering all-day vaping (750 mAh for the Riva and Elegant).]

BTW, Eric, I believe the standard 510 atty (at least Joye 510) is 2.3 ohm, e.g., as shown in this chart. Since the 510 atty was designed to be used on the 3.1V 510 battery, it is no wonder that it hits harder on a true 3.7V battery ... or that 1.5 ohm attys get very hot on such a battery. 2.0 ohm may very well be the sweet spot at 3.7V.

I stopped using LR atties on my precious -L because it doesn't need them imo. It hits hard for sure, harder then any other PV I have used @3.7, mods included. I tried 6V and honestly, with a standard atty it is to much. It is defintely (IMO) the 18650 tube mod to have. I am only curious as to what the Precise will bring.

I was cleaning mine occasionally, but now I stopped and the nickel is developing a nice aging to it from the contact with my hands.

+1,

Contact Caesar at theprecious.ro.

I'm not positive but I'm thinking the PV user actually completes the circuit by touching the sensor while the rest of the hand holds the unit. If there is an oil buildup in the sensor that may inadvertently complete the circuit. Maybe a couple drops of rubbing alcohol on the sensor, then blow it out. That should help remove finger oils. I'd contact Caesar first though.

Also check your batts. Positive side down towards the vent holes.

I have an L and have never had an issue.

Tivo
