Ok, so I don't own any mod from Super T Manufacturing, but I'd love to get one. Here's my problem. I love the cone on my eGo.

I have another mod that I rarely use because when I use it, I feel like there is a certain depth missing from the flavor. I really think that it's the cone. Maybe I'm crazy or maybe it's just in my head, but to me the cone makes all the difference. I even modded my cone so that I can use it with the LR 306.

I have no doubts about the quality of the Precise pvs. In fact, as I said before, I'd really, really like to buy one. However, I don't want to buy one just to have it sitting in a drawer like my other mod.

So, I was thinking it would be really cool to have either a different top cap that has the threading for the eGo cone, or some kind of adapter that would enable the use of a cone.
I might be the only person that would want this, or it may have already been mentioned before, but I thought I put it out there and see what everyone else thinks about it.

Plus, personally, I think the Precise with a stainless cone and stainless 306 drip tip would just look sweet!

P.S. - I'm not trying to be rude by mentioning the eGo in super t's sub forum. Just the best way to quickly explain what I mean.

Funny you mention that, as i've thought a cone would be kind of cool too. I suspect what the cone is doing is holding in some of the heat and thus producing warmer vapor. How much warmer, i don't know. Some have mentioned on the Precise when it first came out, that they thought the vapor was a bit warmer due to the stainless steel cap being a pretty good heatsink, though no one has mentioned that in awhile. I've always wanted to do a vapor temparture mesurement on various devices. So much to do, so little time:)

The cone preheats the incoming vape air 1st and foremost, plus restricts the air flow so you are sucking more vapour than air.

Yeah, and when I cut down the cone for the LR 306, it made a slightly larger gap between the top of the cone and the atty, which lightened the draw a little bit. I didn't do it on purpose, it was just the taper of the cone. But I think it's even better than it was originally.

So, I know you're a very busy man but if I were to purchase a P18, would you consider trying to make a special top cap that would allow me to use the cone? I'd be willing to pay whatever extra cost that you thought was fair! Seriously! You could totally take your time and do it whenever you have the chance. I could provide you with a cone, battery or whatever. If not, I totally understand! But I had to ask. To me, the difference between the cone and no cone is like night and day.
Thanks!

It's something to consider (a cone). I'd have to do emperical testing to see if temp and draw is different as it's subjective at this point. Some also say on the Precise the draw is a bit harder as is. At any rate, at this time, i can't do a cone as i have too many oars in the water, but it's definitely something to keep in my craw to bounce around.

Cool. I understand. I'm glad that you'll do some testing and at least keep it in mind for the future. I appreciate the response!

I agree! The long P16 tube is the #1 priority :)

I thought that the juice feeder was #1 priority! :)
