Genesis for Boba's is the only way to go for me. Mesh just seems to bring out the crisp flavors better than anything else. My usual genesis is a hybrid nova mod v2 (not a vivi nova lol). But any genny with a small vapor chamber will do.
As for gorilla or anything with a sweet or fruity flavor, a kayfun on a nemesis is my favorite. I use cotton in it like everyone else but I don't think cotton is good for straight tbac flavors like Boba's IMO. Drippers with cotton are the same thing but I need a tank while I'm at work.
