i want to premake a nicotine base to use with scuba's excell spreadsheet. i want my end mix to be 18mg 50% pg and 50% vg after adding XX% flavoring. does anyone know of a formula i would use to make this that way i can put in different nic amounts depending on my stock. right now i have 150mg/ml pg.

i know i need to add more nic to compensate for the XX% flavoring but i am not sure how to calculate this. if i did 20% flavoring would i just at 20% more nic?

please help

thanks

I dont know what kina cell phone you have, but iphone or android market has ecig calsulators which lay it out for you...its basically a math problem yes?...the calculator takes the guess work out of the equation....DIY takes practice and time its not a throw together first time your a champ deal, so dont be surprised if it takes a few tries to get the flavor and vape you desire...also ejuice needs to sit and steep a few days before its mature...it will likely change colors as it sits and matures only then will your flavor be where you will know if its ok for you...

Heres a calculator link for you online and free: E-Liquid Calculator - An easy way to mix your own E-Liquid

Some people like me prefer to mix a small batch daily. I used 3ml bottles and mixed a fresh batch each morning. I just sold 1 liter of 100 mg/ml base. I have been mixing my own since feb. It all depends on your taste. I use an app on my android. Ecigexpress has a decent calculator online if you don't own a phone that has access to apps. You will realize it grts expensive to start mixing your own. Once you get a good mix costs will go down significantly.

From my understanding OP is using scuba's spread sheet. So they have a recipe calculator. I think he is trying to premake the nic+pg+vg so when she adds her flavoring the end resulting eliquid would be at 18mg 50/50. I am not sure how you would put this into the spreadsheet to make a base that would be diluted after flavoring to become 18mg 50/50.

Well I would precompensate, in other words mix it like you are adding in the 20% flavoring with out adding it in.
So...

For 100ml

You would add 12ml 150mg nic PG, 18ml PG, 50ml VG = 80ml of 22.5mg nic juice

Then when you want to mix up a batch just add 20% flavoring based on the nic amount.

So plug 22.5 in the PG Nic field
Plug 18 in the Target Nic field
The amount to make
and 20 in the flavoring percent

So for 10ml you would add 8ml premix 22.5 nic juice and 2ml flavoring.

Make sense?
