The apple and the watermelon both have soft mouthpieces. You can tell on the all of them by the snap crackle when you vape.

My Premium Mocca Frappaccino DO NOT have soft tops. I was gonna wash my carto's tonight and learned that my white caps are glued in SOLID. I busted it and bent my crochet hook trying to get it off :-( . The Dunhall and RY4 also have the hard glued in caps. I am not very happy with my Premium Cartomizers. I did not see that they lasted any longer, if anything I think it lasted less than the old ones. I won't be ordering any more premiums.

Can anyone advise which carts to order if I'm looking for strictly a tobacco flavor? I don't care for menthol and I'm trying to replace or get close to my Marlboro Lights kind of taste. Something definitely tobacco but I don't mind a little change.

I have settled on Kant (the best) and Parlament for non-menthol tobacco needs. I don't care for the nutty flavor that many of the folks like in some of tobaccos. I smoked Marlboro Lights, Camel Lights and generics toward the end of my smoking carreer....and Kant comes closest.

So far, I've only found the fruit has the soft caps, but I haven't tried them all yet. (but I will, oh yesssssss, I will)

They are moving to all of them having the soft caps.

The one with the broken mouth piece is still usable. check out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/73773-how-vape-broken-cart-video.html (also great for when you lose the damn cap when popping it out of a regular carto)

The premiums aren't longer lasting. Better atomizer gives better vapor - new premium juices give better flavor. I wouldn't say they last for less time because I've vaping them quite a bit more so, yeah, I go through them quicker.

Be advised....the Kant premo cartos are a bit different, and IMO, not as good as the kant in bottles or old cartos.

I agree with Maxx, and only use the Kant premiums after refilling them with a different juice.

Rob, here are a few things you might notice:
  • The premium cartos are ~ 2mm longer than the regular ones. If you have a regular, stand the two side by side and take a look.
  • There is a printed label on the box of cartos. On the boxes of premiums I have, the font is in BOLD on this label (again, in comparison to the regular ones)
  • On mine, the battery-side hole is smaller than the regulars. This may not be the case with the rubber tipped ones. All my premiums are the plastic, glued-in type; and the hole is definitely smaller.
  • No .... plug

Well... I got my first order of premiums a few days ago and with one exception I'd say the predominantly great reviews are spot on! Thankfully I had just run out of regular carts, otherwise I'd be hard pressed to finish them. My only complaint (and I'm sure it's an isolated incident) is that I got my first defective cart in this batch... minimum flavor and only lasted about 15 minutes before getting a horribly burnt taste... oh well, I was bound to get one eventually :p

Yano, that's incomplete. There are two renditions of Premium as they're working out manufacturing. The "softies" are about 34.77mm in length, the "hardies" are about 36.28mm in length, and the regular [blank, white] are about 35.08mm in length.

I say "about" because the manufacturing isn't precise. (and doesn't need to be)

Battery side hole is smaller in the hardies.

Box labels aren't necessarily consistent.

The softies have a .... plug, and its separate. ....-plug is short and built into the carto on the "hardies".

This will work itself out over time. The vapor is substantially greater on the hardies, and moderately greater on the softies in my experience. The softies burn much hotter at first blush.

I have a large percentage of the flavors of premo, I'll try to document hard-vs-soft later/tomorrow.

If you are looking for a strictly tobacco flavor, Maxx's suggestions are probably the way to go.. But if you are looking for something closer to your Marl lights kind of taste, I'd suggest going with unflavored nic juice. When combustion occurs in a paper cig, you lose a lot of the tobacco flavor, and just end up getting an ashy and airy taste. Unflavored nic juice gives almost the same taste.. I'm also wondering if you could put a few drops of liquid smoke in the unflavored just to give it a little bit of that taste? Haven't tried the liquid smoke, and dunno if that's be a good idea since it might ruin the atomizer or be unhealthy to vape.
