Yeah, that means that your macbook can't source adequate power for the premium carts. It has nothing to do with the PT, I'm afraid, and everything to do with the cartos being current-hogs and the macbook's USB being underspec'd. You need to either skip the premium cartos or use a powered hub.

I know you're playing, but as it sits today no software solution in the world will help. There's only two wires coming out, and they're not D+/D-, so no go there.

It would need a microcontroller and an FTDI chip (or equiv), physical wiring, then a combination of firmware and software.

My Premium Mocca Frappaccino DO NOT have soft tops. I was gonna wash my carto's tonight and learned that my white caps are glued in SOLID. I busted it and bent my crochet hook trying to get it off :-( . The Dunhall and RY4 also have the hard glued in caps. I am not very happy with my Premium Cartomizers. I did not see that they lasted any longer, if anything I think it lasted less than the old ones. I won't be ordering any more premiums.
