Well folks, here's my review of 24mg Premium tobacco by E-cig Express:
ORDERING -
I was given a 10ml bottle for the purpose of review. For those who don't know me, I do NOT pull my punches just because I'm given something. I "call it like I see it" and while that means I'm not always complementary, I am always honest.
PACKAGING -
Standard packaging in a padded mailer and inside a ziplock bag. What I will say that sets ecigexpress apart from other vendors is the bottle (actually the cap). The cap is of a childproof variety and quite nice. I'd never suggest relying solely on a childproof cap to keep kids safe, but I do like the extra safety measure. (I keep my juices inside a locked file cabinet, in a room that is sorta "off-limits", because I do have young kids - you never can be too safe!). The bottle itself is clear not frosted like some other vendors use and has a very professional label (complete with warning, nic strength, bottle size, and "made in the USA"). What is NOT on the label, and I wish it was, is the PG/VG makeup.
LIQUID INSPECTION -
The liquid is a clean peachy color and the viscosity is slightly thicker than most of my other liquids (I normally vape 70PG/30VG so I'm guessing this is 50/50?) The product description on the ecigexpress website does not list the actual %s nor does it give you an option. It does list PG & VG, so people sensitive to either one should get verification of the makeup to avoid issues. The liquid has a fairly strong tobacco smell with a nutty undertone. If you like nutty tobacco, the smell is spot on.
LIQUID/VAPOR TASTE -
I was somewhat surprised that the flavor is more muted than the smell led me to expect. Part of that is how smooth the flavor is, it's incredibly smooth! But that smoothness contradicts the liquids "in your face" smell. So is that important? Not really, the smell is only important if you're trying to drip totally steathly. The vapor itself is mildly aromatic but in liquid form it's much stronger. I like the mellow/mild vapor smell as it's easier to steath vape without announcing it.
The vapor taste is quite impressive and not harsh. It's got a definite nutty flavor and it's described as having "subtle notes of chocolate". "Subtle" being the key word because it is not overly chocolate flavored. An inexperienced vaper probably wouldn't even notice any chocolate flavor. So don't buy this for the chocolate aspect, get it instead for the quality tobacco taste. It's not a "cheap analog" flavor but what you'd expect from the finest tobaccos lovingly steeped.
VAPOR PRODUCTION -
I was quite surprised here. The amount of vapor is actually noticably lower than I anticipated, especially considering the liquids viscosity (it's not super thick, but it is thicker than a lot of other liquids). While some people seem to think the more vapor the better, that's not always true. To me vapor is pretty low on my priority list (behind throat hit, flavor, and residual vapor smell) and so the less than expected vapor is in no way a negative to me. Don't misunderstand, this is not a "zero vapor" liquid, but it's not conducive to fogging up a room/car.
THROAT HIT -
I find the throat hit quite mellow. It's there, but it's secondary to the smooth flavor. For someone who's #1 priority is TH, this might not be for you. However if TH is less important, there's a LOT to like here.
CONCLUSION -
If you like tobacco flavors and if you're looking for a great smooth vape, this is the best example I've ever vaped. It doesnt kick you in the throat, it doesn't have an overpowering flavor, it's just a smooth consistent vape. I'd recommend E-cig Express Premium Tobacco to anyone looking for a great example of how good a tobacco vape can be. It's smoothness makes it a great all-day vape and it's mild vapor production and aroma means it's ideal for those who don't like to advertise what they're vaping. The very mild throat hit might not appeal to everyone, but it's likely a plus to some people.
