I have purchased both and had some issues with the premiums getting too hot. Just got the cool carts last week and I really like them. They produce alot of vapor but don't burn my lips.

Re hot lips: I just recently tried using the rubber carto cap with a little airflow hole over the mouth end of the carto and it's great. No hot burning feel AND with an auto shorty, for some reason (can hold it with teeth?) it makes it *lighter* and you can hold the e-cig hands-free on the inhale (like a real cig). For me, it also helps with he evenness and length of a drag, which equals more vapor on manuals and autos.

CoolCarts are my favorite, though, caps or no caps.

p.s. I think I first read about that idea here; maybe Marykay?

the cool carts also work much better on the pass-thru than the premiums.

For some reason I had issues with my passthru and the premiums as well... it turned out to be my power source ( i was running it off a spare laptop) but it was annoying nonetheless.

Great tip, thank you. I still have premiums kicking around and I avoid using them - now I won't have to! plus I miss being able to hold my "ciggie" with my teeth!

I'm loving my cool carts and I use them with my pt all day and in the car. I'm currently rotating between two of them. When flavor drops off in one, I refill it, put it aside and pick up the other.

I just started filling from the battery end and find that this method then roll briskly between my hands, then top off at top end works well.

I've been using these two cool carts for over a week now and all day long. I've had to blow out the ends a few times and juice is still clear. Once I notice a complete drop off, I'll just toss. I can't be bothered with the boiling and if I'm getting more than two weeks on just one, I've more than recouped on my investment.

I missed that too! I didn't even realize that I missed that until it happened - automatically - right after I put that cap on. I am using it now on a CoolCart - even though they don't get hot AND I'm using a manual right now - it's just better on all fronts. Maybe it is the bite.

You guys crack me up. As a VG exile, I've been dreaming of the upcoming premium VG versions. Now after watching you all gush praise for the darned coolcarts, I want those, too! I feel like Lucy (I Love Lucy) when she kept changing her dinner order after hearing everyone else order something better. :D

That keeps happening to me too - as in "Me too! Me too!"

Re VG: I've been using mostly VG liquids in the CoolCarts. With some pre-filled non-VG flavors that I can't avoid at present, I add a few drops of straight VG to the top of the carts to increase VG to PG ratio.

p.s. Thanks for your various comments on the VG flavors - I picked some based on what you said.

Thanks for the tip :)

I just asked on another board if anyone knew of a better fill method for the cartos (especially cool-carts). I will have to try filling from the battery end and rolling - perhaps I'll get more than 2 refills out of a carto that way :D
