Pretty disapointed...

I have ordered juice from quite a few vendors. I thought I would give RAWR Vapor a try. Bassed on peoples reviews I've read and saw videos of I thought for sure they would be a nice addition to the collection I already have. Even if I only really liked a few of them. Sadly, I didn't care much for any of them and I ordered 12 small bottles. Kinda disappointed with D&D Vapor as well, but at least I DID like some of their juice. So far, my favorite juice vendors are Highbrow Vapor and Atomic Vapors. Out of those two there were a few that was OK, but the rest I really enjoyed. Even the one's that were just ok, I still liked them, just not enough to re order a bigger bottle. I'll let the juices from RAWR steep a few weeks and revisit some of them to see if they have improved for me.

Yep, what I love, you may hate. Trial and error for each person to find what you really like. Can get expensive in the beginning, but oh well, that's how it goes.

If you're on a hunt take a look at the Top 5 Vendors (e juice) thread. It'll point you in the right direction. Also, notice the two vendors' threads always near the top of the General e-liquid Discussion forums? They are popular for a reason. Amazing juices in those.

Felt the same way about Heathers Heavenly Vapes, bought a dozen flavours based on the glowing reviews on this and other forums, did not end up liking a single one of them!

Each juice vendor has their own signature or style I think, two completely different flavours still have their signature and it is this that doesn't agree with my particular taste palette when it comes to HHV.

My favourite vendor is Vape Dudes, they two have their own signature profile. You could probably give me an unmarked bottle of juice and I would be able to identify it as a Vape Dudes juice. I like almost all of their juices, love many of them.

So yes, each person has their own tastes, and it does take a lot of money, time, and effort to find the vendor that fits your particular style.

I haven't tried Vape Dudes but based on the poll on that other site I'm sure I'll be giving them an order soon. I still think you're mental for not liking any HHV juice . Curious what you ordered.

I love vape dudes too except I dislike the tobacco, it tastes nasty and the expresso I think they forgot to put flavor in, it has no smell or taste and it's clear. LOVELOVELOVE their Mocha Java though!

Taste IS subjective, but when people don't have accurate descriptions of a juice, it is very difficult to find the ones ou like.

Sorry you didn't like your samples from HHV, but personally I'm with XyfooYen--I LOVE their e-liquids.

You may want to try Alice in Vapeland--none of their juices have tobacco flavors, and they are ALL very bright, clean and full of subtlety and depth.

I know and the problem is with us new vapers is that we don't know what type of flavors we will like. SO far of all those I have tried, the only flavors I like are the sweet coffee ones. I don't really like any of the rest of them... so far.

thank you and everyone else who does this in their reviews. Whenever I see someone doing reviews in this manner it really helps me. For example, I noticed that I particularly don't like too much caramel flavor in my vapes even though I always tend towards dessert vapes. So when I hear someone tasting heavy caramel I know it's not for me, even if it's a great flavor for other people.

I like the lady who sits on her porch and yells at her dog Taco. That lady knows how to describe flavors.

I havent tried HHV yet or alice in wonderland, ill get a few from them. I'm just going to order a max of 5 juices from now on from a vendor and see if i wil even like them before going crazy and ordering tons of bottles and wasting money.

Absolutely, Vappour. I have also tried a bunch of other juices based on "glowing reviews" such as Boba's Bounty and BWB Casablanca that just didn't do it for me, while loving other juices that get no mention or poor reviews.

I really dig most of the HHV juices, though!

As I posted, I really like HHV. I get about 75% of my juice flavors from them. Alice in Vapeland I also purchase from. My wife loves Cupcake City and we both like the Cherry Blossom Tea. The cherry is subtle and very authentic!

I have found that each vendor I have tried definitely have a profile that is pretty consistent throughout their juices.

Wow Vappour I'm kinda surprised you didn't like anything from HHV. Their tobaccos definitely have a similar profile but with steeping they definitely start to show their differences and nuances. I just dripped some angel kiss and it is exploding with flavor very different from the rest! I wasn't impressed at first but after a good steeping they have come alive.

I ordered a tobacco sampler from halo and they definitely all have a somewhat similar profile but they seem to be very unique and flavorful juices. Im not a fan of the high pg content but I still ordered more due to flavor and complexity of their juices. Not all day Vapes but great juices to have around.

As for Alice in Vapeland....
I'm glad I had a chance to try several vendors before them otherwise I would have probably overlooked their juices. But I must say although their juices are on the subtle side they are very clean flavors and very unique. All of their juices Ive tried so far could be an all day vape IMO. I actually want to try them all. I already placed another order to try those I haven't already. I highly recommend their sample pack that comes with " a little bit of everything" and I'm usually a tobacco flavored kinda guy and they don't have any tobacco flavors... Well there is one in testing behind the red door in testing, I got a sample to try

I ordered Bobas Bounty and Flue Cured from AVE and they taste like they have the same base and so far don't pack much punch in the flavor department. They are kinda bland. Not impressed and probably won't order from them again.

Ill be purchasing a good sized order from Ahlusions tomorrow and I have some really high hopes due to what I've heard! I'm pretty sure ill become a regular of theirs.

So far HHV, AIV and Halo are doing me good! Also if you have samples you don't care for you should head over to the sample swap thread and try trading them. Those HHV sample will go like hot cakes. Or you can find a newbie and gift them to them and help them find what they like. I had someone send me 25 Samples to try just because we started talking and she wanted to help out a newbie! Pay it forward!!

I've tried several vendors, but HHV fits some needs. First I've been searching for true tobacco...which probably does not exist...but I keep trying. My wife like HHV Pirates Booty and Dragon Fire as her daily vapes...I like HHV Sweet Swish and Georgia Peach Tobacco. I don't like hers and she doesn't like mine...so there's the "taste is subjective" argument. After 3 months I'm drowning in samples...but I guess that's the way the game is played.

I got juice from Rawr when I first started vaping and I hated them all! I left them in the closet with the lids off for a few days, closed them up..maybe a week later tried them again and now they are some of my absolute favorites. I don't know if it was the steeping or just my ever changing taste buds but there you go. I've got a few from some very highly rated vendors that I still just don't like..I can see why other people might like them but I just don't and probably never will. Ahlusion is another that I didn't think were all that remarkable immediately but wow, a week later they are just delicious and well worth waiting for...they make the only tobacco flavor I have liked yet. (peachy criminal) Vapedudes..I don't know since my order placed three weeks ago was supposedly shipped yesterday but the tracking indicates they haven't really made the mail yet. It's nice that we have so many choices though. There really is something for everyone, whole lot better than being stuck with 20 Newports or whatever imo. =)
