Typical LT long review/story. Scroll down to the text in blue if you want something more to the point.

Jon from Primevaping has been working really hard to distinguish Primevaping’s tobacco flavors from everyone else’s. Like BWB, Vaperite, Want2vape/Vapestein and a small handful of others, Primevaping is also making their own authentic and natural tobacco vapes. In other words… for the new comers… this means that the vendor is selecting special blends of tobacco leaves and through their own unique processes, they are extracting the essence and trying to get it into a bottle for us to enjoy. Not everyone makes their tobacco flavors this way… many folks rely on artificial tobacco flavorings or third party vendors to provide their unique tobacco flavors.

I think it’s pretty cool to vape tobacco this way. It sort of helps me enjoy tobacco the way I used to without the stench and cancer…

Some people have not perfected the art of steeping tobacco… steeped tobacco is often compared to vaping old, wet socks… and I agree, some steeped tobacco vapes do…
Of the ones I have tried… BWB, VR and W2V – they do a great job and I have only enjoyed their flavors and unique qualities.

But this is supposed to be about Primevaping… and they really can’t be ignored as players in the tobacco game any longer.

A couple weeks ago, Jon from Primevaping sent me (3) 10ml samples of his newest Tobacco Flavors. These aren’t for sale yet… He merely labeled them #1,#2 and #3.
He asked me for my feedback.

(I love how down to Earth this industry is… how vendors ask for feedback, send samples of new liquids and even name flavors after the people who created them… eJoker’s, Red Girl’s cinnapear etc… I can’t wait to try the Grim Green vape or the Basil Ray Vape!)

I’ll comment on Vape #1 and #3 in a moment…

Vape #2…

You’ve read “leaves you wanting for more” several times in reviews…
It’s a compliment right? That’s what we all want…

Well, Primevaping’s #2 did more than that for me…
If PV’s can sprint from hand to mouth, that’s exactly what mine did.

It is a combination of his signature steeped natural tobacco and “something else” incredibly fascinating. The aftertaste… the exhale is so sweet… The inhale has almost no sweetness whatsoever… but the exhale makes me lick my teeth and lips…
I know what it’s not better than what it is… Yeah, another indescribable sweetness.. Apologies… bit this one is different. It really is. I stake my name on it.

For those of you who like sweet and tobacco RY4’s… Boba’s Gorillas, Casablanca or even just straight-up natural tobaccos… this is one to try.

I have no idea what this one will be named… so I’ll get back to you – I am going to suggest “Afternoon Delight,” because it’s luxurious, velvety and still retains its boldness. It’s sex on the lips… sugarlips. Good stuff…

Comments on #1, #3 and PV’s natural tobacco in general…

I don’t find these vapes… or flavors complex in any way. That’s not a knock. When we call something complex, we are alluding to plethora of competing elements and nuances that we cannot quite name… that makes a juice interesting… neither good or bad… just interesting…

PV’s natural tobaccos are refreshing, non-overpowering, bright and balanced.
#1 and #3 were both good and were what I was hoping/expecting from a natural steeped tobacco… #3 was a bit drier and bolder.

Lastly, I really like how these juices perform.
I am big on performance.
Moderate to strong Vapor. Medium Throat hit... enough throat hit...

I almost never have to blow my atties out when vaping PV’s liquids. I regularly get that satisfying dry sizzle from my atties when it’s time to drip a little more…

Enough for now.

Keep your eyes open for some new tobaccos soon to be released from PV…
Don’t get too distracted by their Boston Cream Pie and other sweet goodies, they make serious tobacco-vapes too.

I daresay that Don's tobaccos from Backwoods Brew are instantly recognizable as his extractions. Distinguishing Todd's tobaccos at VapeRite from Donley's at Want2Vape is a bit more difficult, but I'll bet I'd do well in a double-blind test. And lord knows I've complained often enough about the "pure" signature of all Halo's tobaccos. Each of those vendors' tobacco offerings has the maker's characteristic "lean" in the flavor profile.

What I love so much about Jon's tobaccos at PrimeVaping is the lack of a flavor signature. As LT wrote, they are not complex. Instead, they're "refreshing, non-overpowering, bright and balanced" (you stated it well, LT). I'll add three more adjectives: straightforward, clean, and delicious.

I can hardly wait to try the new batch!

So cool that you agree...

and I agree with :

I think you'll enjoy the #2... whatever he names it ;-)

I ran out last night... I only had 10mls... I can't pinpoint the sweetness... it's not maple... not caramel... not chocolate... not Vanilla... not a fruit... what else is there? It's pillowy tasting like Marshmallow... but not quite...

Did you enjoy Love from above? I still love it. I think Bounty Hunter and Love From Above are two of the better non-ry4 tobacco hybrid all day vapes to come out in the past few months...

That's my favorite kind of vape... the ry4 model... tobacco and a little something sweet...

Thanks for the preview. I'm looking forward to trying any and all new tobacco juices coming from PV. I took a trip this past weekend that required going through airport security with carry-on only luggage. With that comes fluid restrictions so I had to seriously limit juices. I chose to take LFA, Nostalgia, and my good old reliable AC. I got to know the LFA and Nostalgia a little better than I had and both are superb. Over four days, I didn't tire of them.

PV's Natural Tobacco is next on my list for purchasing but I'd most definitely give any new Ts a try as well.

I mentioned in another thread somewhere a couple of weeks ago that the PV Honey is exceptional as well. I ordered it with extra flavor and sweetener added and it tastes like natural honey, providing an excellent TH and expected vapor levels for a 70/30 blend.

Did you enjoy Love from above?

LT,

Love from Above is definitely a winner. I don't love it as much as Nostalgia, Natural Tobacco, and that incredible wild Strawberry Jon makes, but I wouldn't kick LFA out of bed, if you know what I mean.

I've had a fair number of PV's juices so far: 8th Wonder, Almond Delight, Boston Cream Pie, Butterscotch, Caramel, Cocoa, LFA, Mellow Tobacco, Natural Tobacco, Nostalgia, PV4, Strawberry, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Virginia Tobacco. The only ones I didn't like were the Mellow and Virginia Tobaccos, which (unfortunately) yanked me right back to my dislike of FlavourArt tobacco concentrates. (I may be biased, but I know what I don't like...) Every other PV juice is, well, "prime."

Yes, tobacco blends with some sweetness are definitely how I lean also. As I recall, you're the culprit who first hipped me to the brilliant idea of adding w2v Crème Brulee as a sweetener/smoother for harsher tobaccos. Now I put it in damn near everything (either that or bwb Malty Toffee). My addiction to Crème Brulee is all your doing---LOL---and I am one happy addict.

Between dual-coil cartos, cheap Madvapes VV boxes that hit like freight trains, and all the amazing juices now available, these are halcyon days for vaping.

These tobaccos hit the market today!
25% off until 8/7 on everything...

LT,

As of a minute ago, the new natural tobacco vapes weren't listed on the Prime Vaping site yet, and---wouldn't you know it---late last night I emailed a big order (I can't ever get the cart on their web site to work with Firefox or Safari on my Mac) as soon as I got email notification of the sale.

But that's OK. I just sent another email to Jon & Donna asking them to change my order to include the three new tobaccos, if they've got 'em.

and tobacco #2 is named Last Tango! what a cool coincidence ;-) what a classy name! what a compliment ~ guess that means I better buy 500mls

It pays to cozy up to your favorite vendors. I guess this makes you the new baby juice's uncle or something, since it was named for you. Congrats! I wouldn't go quite so far as to say that this "immortalizes" you, but it is a little like having your own statue in the town square.

edit: im on the cell but i dont see your tobacco on there?

PV4 and Strawberrty are my favorites but all of thier juice is remarkably good. Boston Cream Pie is dead on and thier Strawberry and Blueberry Cheesecakes are the best ive tried.

How do you feel about extra flavor for Nostalgia, LFA, and 8th Wonder? Of the 3, I've only had Nostalgia.. I liked it, but i felt that it could have used a little boost. What do you think?

dream,

I say go for it. With some vendors, "extra flavor" can end up running the risk of ruining the juice. You know, too much of a good thing. My personal experience with Prime Vaping juices, however, is that the "extra shot of flavor" option works perfectly to add a little more richness.

Blimey! I just placed an order TOO!

Thanks to the thread, I just emailed Jon and asked to place a hold on the order until the new juices are available so I can include them.

Seems a rather strange timing issue, to start a sale just days before the release of new juices?

Why wouldn't you start a sale BECAUSE of the release of some new juices and HERALD it as such a sale trumpeting the new releases?

THINK man, THINK! :facepalm::laugh::):):)

I liked it, but i felt that it could have used a little boost.
You know, I liked it specifically because it wasn't overly strong, I think the flavor has a great finesse and a slight, but excellent, restraint to it. It would be more like some cheap juice if that flavor was too strong I think.

Thank you. This is just what I was hoping.
I'll give it a shot... pun not entirely intentional :vapor:

Yes, but it's this restraint which might allow for a margin of safety to add extra flavoring. At least that's what Master Po told Grasshopper. :vapor:

oh yeah, congrats to lasttango for the honors! :toast:

Congrats LT!!! Just so happens, it's time for a reorder of my favorite, 8th Wonder and I think I'll throw in a bottle of you. lol I enjoy their PV4. Great mellow tobacco with a burnt sugar taste that I absolutely love. It isn't a heavy sweet taste, just enough sweetness to bring out a great tasting tobacco. I guess I'm a tobacco flavor junkie now. This time last year I was on a fruit vape binge but something happened to my taste receptors and now tobaccos are far more satisfying. Prime Vaping is shining brightly, not only with great tasting juices, but top notch customer service to boot. If you haven't tried them yet, the current sale added to the great reviews should nudge you in their direction. You won't be disappointed.
