An amateur bass player myself. Taught myself to play a couple of years ago after years and years of always listening to the bass parts of songs. (I can read music; I played trumpet in high school.) I only play along with You Tube music videos now, but it's fun and fulfills some strange need I have. Not bad for a 59 y/o guy?
I own a Yamaha RBX 170 4-stringer. Below is my bass. Can you tell I'm a fan of Eddie Van Halen? How about the rest of you guys? What basses do you play?
