on a trip currently out to Vegas flying Delta. I was lucky enough to snag an upgrade to FC, and my seat buddy didn't mind if I stealth vaped. Just a heads up for those protank users... The air pressure wreaks a bit of havoc on them. I've been using my tanks for of 5 weeks now with little issue... When we got to altitude I started vapin a bit and got some massive gurgling going on. I'm assuming this is due to air pressure. More so a heads up if you are traveling and might have it in you carry on. It will probably leak onto whatever is in your carry on.

Yep, bottom coils and big pressure (altitude) changes can result in flooding. I use my Vivi Nova (top coil) in the cockpit (personal, not commercial!) all the time on cross-country flights without any problems at all. I do make sure the juice level is less than full though.

You could unscrew the bottom cap/head assembly from the tank during takeoff and landing to avoid any leaking.

Good point, but might be tricky to prevent spills till you get above 6 - 8,000 ft or so (normal cabin pressure regulation). Or, use a top coil.

I loosened the screw cap a bit and retightened and cleaned off the innards of the connection on the MOD. Back to normal...or at least until landing.

I'm a corporate jet pilot and I do vape my protank in the cockpit, pretty bad after landing, gurgle city, I've started plugging the mouthpiece with a wad of tissue and it doesn't seem to be as bad now.
