Interesting, though I'm not convinced it would work with the Pro Tank.
I'm a cheap guy, so I've never actually bought one, because I just use a short piece of thin wall silicone tubing, cut to about 1/4" long (length will vary) and slide onto the battery 510 collar. Fit the tank, or any 510 liquid container, slide the tubing up to block off as many vent slots as needed. Ta da! instant airflow controller.

I just took a closer look and it appears it may work, though perhaps not stable.

Use thin wall, snug fitting tubing... it will "c0ck" and hold position. I'm currently (as in right this minute) using a cut off piece of end cap from a Boge cartomizer that I use in my carto tanks. Surgical tubing would probably work great.

Stupid dirty work blocker... wouldn't let me use c0ck with an o.

The trick, I think, is to get something flush up against the base of the protank, whether it's a homemade spacer or airflow controller. On my vamo, for instance, the draw on the standard protank is super airy because the tank is not flush with the mod. Throw the protank on an ego with a beauty ring and the draw is fine because the ring is flush.

    No you can't

This simple thing works, just cut a piece from silicon sleeve that the wick/coil come in, I placed over the female part of 510 connector on my vamo cut flush to the top as tighter the tank is screwed in the less air flow.

I used scissors, just cut a little at time till you get the right lenght.

Worked with my Johnson Creek Vea's batteries too.

Had to cut it little longer on for my vivi nova's tanks.

    Improve juice taste also.

    Thanks 1911Builder... Great Tip.:rickroll:

I found that I didn't like the tighter draw on the Protank 2. i swapped bases with my old one and the original draw is back! I did notice that even though it has the same number of air holes they are not as deep so Im gonna get hubby to deepen the grooves for me a little to see if that helps.

I went ahead and ordered me a replacement base just in case.

Has anyone here tried the Davide yet and what kind of draw does it have?

    Thanks!
