Right now I have 2 Prodigy V3.1 @ 6volts, I am tired of being limited to the atty's and carto's that I can use on it.. I really like the higher voltage vaping but I would like to be able to change it up, this is why I am leaning towards VV PV.. I really like the Pro-Vari in chrome and would also get the battery extender and the 18650 batteries.. My question is for everyone how long does a full charged 18650 last, hours, days?? And any other advice you could give about the PV would be great.. Thanks in advance..

The Prodigy, I believe, uses 2x RCR123's which have a mAh rating of 750 at 3 v.
The ProVari's 18650's vary between 2400-3000 mAh at 3.7 v depending on the brand and type (high drain or not). You need to run the Prodigy batteries in series to get 6 v, but without getting into Ohm's law, the Prodigy's batteries have about 1/3 the stored energy of the ProVari's 18650, so you should get at least 3 times the vaping capacity. Heavy emphasis on the "at least".

In reality, it will be more since the ProVari uses some moderately sophisticated circuitry to boost the 3.7 to 6 v, but 3 times is as good a number as any. It's impossible to give you hours of vape time without factoring in a bunch of variables.

One thing, you can use ONE high drain 18650 unprotected battery in the ProVari because of the circuitry. You CANNOT use Two unprotected batteries in series in your Prodigy.

I have a ProVari and love it! The only problem is the lead time.

Just for an example, I've been running my Provari at 5.0v with a 3.0ohm atty. With very heavy vaping(gotta stop that) I get about 7ish hours out of the reccomended AW IMR 18650 battery.

This is the kinda of info I am looking for.. I am a moderate vaper at work, but vape heavy in the evenings when I get home.. I was wondering if 1 battery would last me through out the day..

Lead time on the regular Pro Vari is 1 week and the Chrome/ Black ones are 2 weeks now.. That is better than the 3 to 4 weeks it use to be..

+1...thats what i am getting from my AW IMR 18650 as well. I get a bit less from the trustfire 18650

That's about how I am with vaping (except on the slow days at work, then I vape heavy there, too) and I can get a full day out of an extended battery. I have three extended batteries and four shorty batteries, so I try to switch it up. A shorty battery lasts me through work, but I have to change it when I get home, or through an evening, but I have to change it before work the next morning.

I vape a 3.2ohm CE2 in a MapTank at between 4.5-4.8 exclusively. I started out with the extension cap and an 18650 battery. I would load up a fresh 18650 around 6-7am and vape almost 2 tanks of juice throughout the day and would replace the 18650 the following morning with no "low battery" signal whatsoever. I decided since I got such good life out of this setup, I'd try the shorter 18490 battery, just to get a bit of the weight and length out of my hand all day. I now load up an 18490 at around 6-7am(same time) and vape it till right at 5-7pm the same day and get the "low battery" light blinking. I swap it out before heading out for dinner or whatever and I'm good to go the rest of the night. Very, Very Efficient system!!! I just friggin' love my Provari w/MapTank!!! AWESOME!!

I vap with the same setup, a ProVari with MAP tank, 3.2ohm.

Great setup! I also really love it.

But man... can't believe you go through TWO TANKS!!! You're a vappin fiend! That's about 9ML of juice a day?!?

Wow.

I used to think I went through about a tank a day, but then I realized I was refilling when it got down to the bottom of the clear part of the tank - not completely empty. A refill from that point is only about 3 ml.
