Hi,

Been using Ego-T model B ecigs for few months now. Just ordered few discount spare atty's from Healthcabin, like these: Search Results : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail--

I have Joye Model B atty's and those 2.5ml plastic tanks. All my tanks have "tight hole" in leak cap, as my old atty's all have the usual metallic tube that wet's the wig inside the atty from the tank.

Now with the new Low Resistance atty's, there is a massive "bulk" of wig in the spot where the normal atty's have a small metal tube. So when the tank has the leak cap on, the tank does not go in properly. Tried to use the LR atty without the leak cap and ended having mouthful of e-liq.

I also have those rubber leak caps and with those, the tank goes in (using force) all the way into LR atty. But after few puff's, the taste turns absolutely horrid (like burning rubber).

Apparently I have not figured out something here. Is it normal in LR model B EGO atty's that there is no tube, but huge mesh bulp in the same place? How should the e-liq then go in?

This is to illustrate the problem. Upper is normal "Non-LR" atty with the usual metal tube that goes in to tank through the "leak cap" that is in the bottom of the tank.

Lower red atty is the new LR one, with this massive mesh-bulk that measure wise should go inside the tank through that drip cap. But it seems to make no sense.

Is it possible these LR atty's I got are only meant for drip-tips?

That's not normal. I have no idea what that is...

I've been using Joyetech LR Type Bs for several months, ordered from several vendors, and have not ever seen one without the spike (even some knock-offs I tried once).

If this wasnt' from a Chinese vendor, I'd complain. As it is, I'm afraid you're out of luck... It looks like they were designed for dripping or something...

I guess we know why they're on sale, but I don't see any way for that to work with a tank. All I can say for sure is that these are NOT current Joyetech LR Type-Bs. They may be an old design (abandoned for obvious reasons) or a different brand.

I wish I had better news!

Funny thing is, that when I drip couple of drops of e-liq directly into that mesh and put an empty tank into it without the drip-cap, I surely does provide best puff's I've had. Not many of those, but geeszh its strong throat hit comparet to normal legit non-LR joye atty. Lets see if the drip-tip is the way to go.

If nothing else, I'll have these as a backup when my other atty's eventually decide to die out.
