Problem!!! Please help! Kanger tech aerotank!

My kanger tech aerotank is having some issues! It's been working great all up until today. I have changed the cool and everything. It feels like the air holes are clogged. Hardly any vapor is being produced! And it is extremely hard to pull. Help lol it's my daily go to! Thanks guys!

Try removing the flavor wicks above the coil.

Both the Aerotanks I have came with Kanger dual coils, which either don't have a flavor wick or it's threaded into the rest of the wick between both coils... trying to remove any of the wick from these has only ended in disaster for me at least. I've found that if this happens, taking the Aerotank apart -- coil and all -- then putting it back together gently but firmly often resolves it for me.

How long has the atomizer inside been in use? If you've haven't changed it in awhile it could be gunked up and restricting airflow?

Oops reread and you said you changed coil. I have an aerotank and never experienced this issue, sorry.

My only other suggestion would be to give the airflow control valve a good rinse under hot tap water.

If I had to guess, the pin in the bottom of the coil is being squished by the pin inside the airflow control base causing restriction through the bottom of the coil.

I just took my aerotank apart to check... and yup the bottom pin in the base actually floats a little. I pushed it out a tiny tiny bit, put it back together and screwed it onto my Sigelei Zmax V3 until I could feel it making light contact and now it vapes better than before. Learned something new!

Okay I'll add to this thread. I bought an aerotank yesterday and absolutely love it. I have the eGo battery, it's small and I don't know the number of it. Anyway, what is the best battery for this tank, ya know if I'm going to move to a bigger/better battery. I'm not having any problems with the eGo but am just curious about another one.

I use either 18650 or 18350. Right now I have the 18350 in my itaste svd and it works great with my kanger tech aerotank. What do you have your tank on?

If you want to stay with an ego type battery, I use mine with a smoktech vv 1300mah winder, works very well.

Try taking a safety pin and clearing the air holes. Just make sure your device is off first

look for an mvp2 for $40.
high capacity vv/vw passthrough battery.
best bang for the buck in batteries with most of the advanced features of a full mod included.
