*problem* whistle tips for dse901

I just got my east mall order and I love this sucker!! The only issue I have with it is that the whistle tips are pretty loose in the atomizer. My order came with a box of 5 tips and none of these retain very well. I can easily push them out with one finger and am scared of the 901 falling out of the tip from its own weight. Is this normal. From what I can tell, the tips that came attached to the atomizers are different from the ones that came in the 5 pack and one of these 2 retains really well the other retains better than any in the 5 pack.

The ones that came attached to the atomizers (I bought 2 initially) have a single large chamber for the vapor to flow and the ones in the 5 pack have 2 smaller chambers..one on top of the liquid holder and one on bottom. Im not so much worried about the retention as I am with the liquid leaking between the atty and the tip because of the loose fit...is there a way to fix this or just deal with it?

Hi boa,

this is a strange one for sure,
ever since I have been into e-cigs this problem has existed,
the 901 has always had a loose fitting cartridge,

in fact there are some wonderfully funny stories
all through ECF pages on all forums abut the many
cartidge and battery separations with the 901-- ha ha ha

one member had everyone in absolute fits of laughter for days
as he regaled us with his story of -----
standing with cartridge firmly clenched between teeth, --
ready to engage in toilet business,
suddenly -- ploop -- he had cartridge in mouth,
while his beloved 901 - minus cartridge --
was attempting to swim all the way back to china
via the toilet system -- ha ha ha ha 8-o

and Ed should tell you the story of him
looking suspiciously at his lawn mower
one day with 901 cartidge clenched in teeth, -----

Yes, you could be the innovator who solves the longtime
problem of the loose 901 carts,

I think I read somewhere that someone recommended
using a hot needle to scrape down the sides of the cart
and make a ridge on each side, and that makes it tighter ,----
