Hi everybody,
I am having a problem with my 510 Pcc. I put a batt in yesterday and the little red light never turned green. When I went to use the batt, it was still dead and the light on the Pcc was still on and still red and there was no batt in it! I haven't had the Pcc very long at all and only had to charge it up 3 times. Has anybody else had this problem?
Thanks and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I think there's a little plunger pin that's spring loaded that makes connection to the center post(+) of the battery. Once it's pushed down it makes contact to power to recharge battery. The plunger may be stuck. Try tapping the PCC lightly against your hand. If that doesn't dislodge it, I'm not sure what to suggest. You might could take something non-conductive and stick down inside and carefully try to unstick it. Of course this is assuming the plunger is stuck.

The "plunger" is just a "pogo pin", there is no switch associated with it.

I reread your post..... I may have been mistaken in thinking that you were implying that there was a "switch" associated with the pogo pin. As you stated.. it's just a contact, and it may be stuck in the down position... and therefore not contacting the battery correctly. Good advice!

(But that usually won't cause the charging light to stay on when the battery is removed)
