I've been using 3.5ml DCT tanks on the Provari Mini with great success, so I decided to try a 6ml tank. Before filling, I screwed it down and noticed that when on tight, I could not draw through it. Noticing that the tank seats onto the outer rim of the mini, the tank is apparently sealed to the point of not being able to draw.

I can unscrew it slightly but the wiggle and inconsistency with the draw sucks... Pun intended!;)

Anyone had a similar issue, and if so, know of a solution?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Can you pull the tank up on the carto a bit? If you are using the flanged smok tech cartos, then there will be a gap between the flange and the bottom of the tank though. You could also use a dremel or similar tool and cut airflow slots in the bottom of the tank cap. Is it SS or delrin? Delrin would be super easy to put slots in. Look at the slots in the cap in this pic- Airflow Stainless Bottom Cap - Vaperfexion

Thanks for the reply dDubs. They are flanged cartos, I was a bit worried about puuling the tank up to get a gap because there are only about a couple of mm of the carto above the top of the tank. However puliing it up just a smidge works! Thanks very much... Don't know why i didnt think of it...

There are stainless caps and was thinking of cutting two or three shallow grooves in the cap to provide air path too.

Thanks again :toast:
