Hello all! Ive become an avid ego-t user for the past month or so. I started with the type A atomizers that came with the kit. When cleaning them it was easy to pop off the metal thing and wash out the wick and all without a problem. Recently I ordered some type B atomizers from the same vendor. The past 2 of these attys I tried to clean I had a problem with. I pop out the metal thing and for some reason the wick on both of these is like stuck to the atomizer and didnt come out at all with the metal thing, so I try tweezers and unfortunately can only pull separate fibers out of it, but no complete wick. I cant even find the little mesh that holds the wick over the heating element in the metal thing, but I dont want to poke the tweezers too far in and damage the element. Are these atomizers different by design? I love the increased capacity for liquid but will go back to type A design if I cant find a solution, so I decided to ask you guys what you thought.

One more thing, I gave the now wick=less attys to my friend, and he seems to have no problem with leakage or anything using it WITHOUT THE WICK, with 15% vg juice no less now thats strange lol has this worked for anyone else?

Thanks in advance guys! :)

I tried to take apart a "B" tank atty last night and after trying 3 different tools was finally able to get the metal spike plate off. It was brand new but the coil was open so my vendor let me keep it. What was odd was that there was a wick running through the inside of the coil and the ends of the wick stuck out on both sides of the coil. There was no mesh besides around the ceramic cup. Don't know how you'd ever get the wick back into the spike plate again. Maybe it would work if you shoved a new wick down the spike hole so it touches the coil. So it's looking like these aren't going to be easy to clean other than soaking. Won't be able to dry burn very successfully either. Good Luck with your "B"s!

Thanks for responding Vantripper. Youve confirmed for me that these are at least a bit different than the type A's. The 2 I took apart to try to clean I had used for awhile and the fact that the one you took apart was new (not soaked in old e-juice or anything) and you saw the exact same thing pretty much proves that the type B werent meant to be taken apart at all to clean like the type A's it seems. I still like the type B's for their juice capacity but im going to lean towards the type A's because of the ability to clean.

thanks for the response. :)
