I have had my eGo-T for about a month. yes, I still love it, although I will admit there are inconsistent problems with them. I dont believe that vendor has anything to do with it as they are all manufactured by the same company, just rebranded for each vendor. The eGo-T still gets my rave reviews because even with the very few issues I have had with it, they are still FAR AND AWAY better than messing with carts/fillers/fluval/blue foam/ and topping off of carts every freaking 10 mins.

I have said before, and I'll say it again, if it aint broke, dont fix it. I think people are "fixing" their eGo-T attys/wicks when there is nothing wrong with them as is. They are trying to "improve" them based on the multitudes of posts stating "easy fixes/tweaks". If you just leave it alone and only mess with it if you NEED to, then you also might come to find why the eGo-T is loved and STILL loved by many who have had them and been using them with little or no problems at all.

I broke the needleplate on one of mine trying to get it out. Not the blame of Joye at all. I pushed the wick down, and guess what... I pushed it down a bit too far and it started flooding the atty. MY FAULT. MY FAULT also that I broke it trying to get the dang thing out to fix it. THEIR fault for making a cheesy plastic needleplate but had I not fudged it up, I would not have broke it.. bottom line.. my fault, so I cant blame the product line for something I did to screw it up.

Same here. The first day, I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. 2 weeks later, it's in the trash pile. Spent most of those 2 weeks screwing with them, pulled the plate out a million times to try wicks of all types, lengths and tightness. Got it to work, but it was always temporary. Eventually the draw got so tight, no amount of cleaning would fix it. Lesson learned.

Notice the rave reviews are from people that *just* got it? Let us know if you feel the same way 30 days later...

To OP: It sounds like your wick got pushed through the needle all the way... That will cause the tank to drain quickly into the atty. The only way to fix that is to pull the needle plate and re-insert the wick into the needle. You can see instructions for pulling the plate here.

To the others who report flooding: This can be also caused by drawing too hard on it. The wicking in the eGo-T atomizer is controlled by airflow, if you suck on it too hard, you'll pull too much fluid into the atty. The proper draw on the eGo-T is a five second draw for a full mouth of vapor. If it takes you less than 5 seconds to get a full mouth, you're drawing too hard & too fast.

As I've also said in several other threads and on my blog, you also need to stay away from dark juices, and juices with more than 30% VG. Both will gunk up the atty or cause wicking problems.

The eGo-T is not a perfect PV, but with proper care and maintenance, it lasts just fine. I've been using mine over a month now, and with regular cleanings and maintenance, it is running just like brand new.

Check out my blog for my tips, tricks, and maintenance ideas. The link is in my Signature.

Seriously, can anyone tell me how to get that terrible taste to dissapear, I've got new atty started vaping on it today around what, 2 pm maybe... Its midnight I had try to vape about 8-9 times, refilled the tank and it still taste like burned dog's ....
Any suggestion ?

In order to get rid of that burnt taste...
Remove the cart, drip 2 drops directly on the atty.
If the cart is full, remove one third of the juice.
Never fill the cart more than 2/3.
Take a couple of short, hard primer puffs.
VAPE AWAY!
Every time you change the cart add 2 drops directly to the atty.
You will need to do this more when the atty is new.
Good luck!

I have had that problem before -- a persistently bad taste from an an ego-T atty. In my particular case, it turned out that that the wick wasn't touching the coils enough; so even though the tank was full, it was dry (or semi dry) burning often.
I solved the problem by removing the hat and adjusting the wick so that I knew it would land on top of the coil when I popped the hat back in. Some people seem to think burning the wick clean is the fix for this, as done here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/atomizer-issues/166898-pics-ego-t-wick-hat.html
But I think it just has to be in good contact with the wick, since that worked for me.
