Hey, sorry if this has been posted before.

I'm having a problem with my 600mAh Evod battery, it is a firing issue but not in the same way as I've seen other people have. Basically sometimes it fires and sometimes it doesn't and I have noticed that I can tell when it is going to work and it's not, because what happens when it doesn't fire is the LED will snap on, stay lit for a few seconds and then snap off again without firing, even if I'm still holding the button down, where as when it does work the LED will fade up and stay on as long as I hold the button like it should do.

So sometimes I have to push the button a few times before the LED will fade up and it will fire again. The battery can be fully charged and it will still do this.

I've tried pulling the pin up to see if that would help, it didn't.

It's just an annoyance really, specially if I'm not looking at the LED.

if it's more than 3 months old then sounds like time to replace

Yeah, unfortunately the EVODs kind of just kick over at some point. My first one only lasted about 2 months. . . :(
Grab another evod for now and for back up in the future, and start checking out some better mods.

If you want to eye up box mods:
Most people are going to point you into the direction of the isticks. I got a 30w istick with nautilus mini tank and some juice from Mt. Baker for under $70 (with a coupon). It's an easy upgrade from the evod and has enough power if you want to upgrade your tanks or whatever later in your journey. Plus, they're 2200mah which means the battery life is 4x as long as your 650mah. It's a pretty easy set up to learn and if you run into any trouble with it, there are a ton of threads on here troubleshooting it.
