Hey everyone,
I'm somewhat new to vaping, roughly 3 months since I got my first ecig. Been doing alot of testing around with juices and such. So I finally found a juice I absolutely LOVE. And I didnt see anything in the rules about mentioning brands so its Cherrywood from vermillion river. Well I got the sample, used it on my 4.1v ecig from v2cigs, and loved it. So I ordered more and also bought a 650 maH 3.7v egoT USB passthrough with the LR cone atty and tanks. Well the juice just does not taste the same on the ego. So I filled up a carto and tried on my v2 again and its great. But I'm upset its not working right on the ego. Whats the big difference here??? I can hardly taste anything with it on the ego. Other juices I have taste twice as good on it than they do my old v2. And I was actually hoping to retire the lil guy. So is it the HR atty maybe? Maybe the Lower volts? Im considering buying some cartos for it now just to see if they work better. But I wanted to get some expert advice first.
Thanks to anyone who read this! And thanks in advanced to anyone who replies. :p

I have no idea where I'm at
Atties play a big role in flavor. Pick up a regular atty and try it. Many members with higher or variable voltage systems can take more advantage from an LR, but many are of the opinion that an LR isn't utilized to it's full potential on lower voltages. I didn't see very much difference in an LR I tried in my ego-t system from my regular atty.

Why did you go with an LR?

Go through the model specific threads for the ego-t and you will find out a lot about the versatility of the ego system. Do a search for LR and flavor. That might answer your questions fuller. I am an ego-t diehard, but I also use a CE-2XL rev.5 with the same batt and love that too, and the flavor is great.

Last note: perhaps if you did the ego-t atty wick mod you would see a big improvement in flavor in the LR. That mod improves wicking and flavor.

Hope that helps,

Saludos

Ok that helps because I was already looking at the DSE-801 HIGH POWER ecig. But I dont really feel like buying another kit after just recieving this one saturday.

I went with LR because I read that it produces much more and thicker vapor. I thought it would also enhance the flavor also.

I will definitely do more research on the ego on these forums and see what I can come up with. What is that ego-t atty wick mod you speak of though? Can you explain how to do this or point me in the right direction??

And thank you kindly :)

Many complain juices have less flavor on EGo-T

You can try adjusting the wick on the Ego-T atomizer - try searching for a Youtube video. I don't use tanks so I can't explain how to do it. I just know getting the wick in the best position for the juice should improve wicking and flavor (assuming a new fairly clean atomizer). Also - brand new atomizers can have primer liquid on them that tastes/smells like machine oil.

You can also use cartomizers on Ego-T - Boge are most popular but there are plenty of other kinds, some good and some not.

@dormouse and fidel
Im going to keep these ideas in mind. I only have 1 atomizer right now and another on the way. So ill try taking it apart when I got a backup. But really good info.
and @Darlene7 no I dont, I was looking at buying one. But they sell them at litecigusa. Thats where I was looking.

and @swedishfish Im going to look into these cartomizers and possibly add them to my next order this weekend thanks :)

KYcrop44 -- Sponge carts? Might I suggest you try a CE-2 Rev.5 instead. They are more like tanks, built in atty, and the flavor production is great. They are easy to clean and last, I have some that are still going strong after 60+ refills (of course that is with regular cleaning.

It's the VG that makes denser vapor. I have used dual coil atties that didn't give me as much vapor as an ego-t filled with a mostly VG liquid. BTW a regular atty is not an LR atty.

Suggestion: at some point you will need at least 2 batts, possibly an extra charger, and several atties for rotation and backup spares. Go to the vendor area of the forum and start checking out vendors that sell to members at good prices, and keep a lookout for sales.
