Hey all, I recently bought an itaste SVD, still new to it so I don't really know what's happening.. Basically I recharged the battery and put it in, when I turn it on the button goes red-yellow-green indicating it's fully charged, but the screen briefly displays 0.00v and when I try to use it the button blinks red and the screen says 'low' and it turns off.
...? Anyone know why this is happening?

I use an SVD and I've had this problem before. As Burnie said, battery has to be positive towards the top of the device. The other thing could be that the center post isn't making contact good enough. I haven't used the iClear's. I stick to bottom coil. You can get a paper clip or something and GENTLY pull up on the center pin on all sides then try again.

The battery I'm using (not sure excactly what it is but) has worked for a full charge cycle, then when I charged it and put it back in, it just didn't work..

Every battery I have has some kind of markings on it, what does yours have written on it? We are trying to help but to do so we need all the information, not bits and pieces. Tell us the WHOLE story from working to not working, battery + toward top or bottom, topper, battery you are using, charger you are using, all the info you can give us to help determine your problem, we ARE trying to help.

Uhhh NO. I have an SVD, + toward the top, then 3 click the power button to turn it on. If that does not work, send it back because it is defective.

Uhhhh that's what I said? It only works + first. Unless by top you mean bottom? Also as I've prebiously said, the battery has worked for a full charge cycle before this issue. Is it possible that some batteries just don't recharge?! But if that's the case, then why would the button go red-yellow-green?
basically I'm thinking this isn't an issue than can just be fixed, and it's a defective piece of s**t which I'm gonna have to fight for a refund for?

Oh right sorry, I think I forgot when I was writing the post that people had asked about the label :p I'm pretty gazeebo'd tonight.,. So anyway:

Label on battery:
Efest 2000 IMRI8650 3.7V LI-MN High drain rechargeable battery

I put the battery in - side first (cuz it doesn't even get power from + side first)

Topper: the iclear30 that came with it (both that were in the kit work with ego style batteries but not the svd) also tried it with a ....ty petrol station head and same thing

Charger: Intecore i4 intelligent charger v2

I hope this provides enough information, if not, I shall check this in the morning as I'm about to pass out while watching SGU and vaping on my vision spinner which actually bloody works.

just to be clear + side of battery goes toward the mouth end of device .
according to this thread

sounds like the culprit might be center pin pushed down.

The battery must go in with the + end toward the topper. It may or may not light up the display when making contact. It may or may not need to be turned on after changing batteries. 3 click. Haven't really paid a lot of attention to it, but it seems that if I take a bit to swap batteries, my SVD is OFF when I put the new one in.

Maybe?
