I just got my first sets of blank cartomizers and some e-juice. Now this is all new to me and my first time filling them. The first 4 i filled worked great, no problems. But then i took the strawberry juice filled a blank cart and it didn't vape. I figured it was something i did wrong. So i took another blank filled it with strawberry, didn't work again. So i thought well, 3rd time is a charm. And then again nothing worked. Is it normal for 3 blank carts not to work in a row, or can juice not vape? I really dont know what could have gone wrong. I don't want to waste anymore.

sometimes you have to pull the post down on the carto (and sometimes battery also) for it to make connection. if you stare down the threaded end of said unit, you can see a white rubberish ring and a small round piece of metal inside it. get a small nail or something very sharp and wiggle it a little while your pulling it up. if it still doesnt work, call up the vendor and in a very low voice say "i know where your house lives"

Confirm your battery isn't dead using a different carto or even a meter if you can.

Is it a manual or an auto battery? manual has a little button that you push to vape. autos, you just suck on them to vape.

If you have an auto battery, be very careful and neat with your juice...blow through and wipe the cartos good before attaching them, and never fill or drip into the carto while it is on an auto battery (untill you get very good at it and know exactly where it'll go).

Next, drip just one or two drops in the tiny hole at the threaded end of the carto and let it sit a minute. Wipe the carto good and clean (the threads too). This process will ensure the atty inside is wet.

Does it vape now? Can you hear a little sizzle inside the carto?

If so...good news...you just need more juice in your cartos :)

If not...
Could be that the cartos are just bad. Bad batches of cartos do happen sometimes.

Could be that the little post at the end of the carto isn't making good contact with the battery. This can happen from screwing cartos onto the battery too tightly...it simply shoves the contact of the battery down over time...or of the cartos if they have a post in them that can move.

Some cartos have a little post that you can gently tug out with a small tool. You can also try that on your battery, but I'd try a carto that is known to work before messing with the battery contact.

they are 808 carts, all from the same place. Out of the 3 bad carts, 2 came from the same pack. The dripping method i used was taking the soft white cap off, holding it at an angel and dripping about 12 drops down the side, rotate the cart and let it side a few min.

I tried your method Credo on 1 cart, it did vape a small amount, no sounds. But i went ahead and filled it up with about 15 drops this time, and nothing. No vape only sound i hear is a gargling sound. I tried it on 2 different batteries.

Just tried other 2 carts, had vape when i dripped in the threaded end, as soon as i filled it, nothing happens, no vape.

OK, most cartos can handle 40 drops or more....

Give this a try...

Remember the kid's game where ya fill a bucket with water and spin it...and the water stays in?

We want to do this with your carto...it'll pack the liquid down into the carto.

Cap the ends of the carto and drop it down into something like a sock or baggie so the battery end will stay pointed down. Swing the thing around and around for several seconds. Possible add a little more juice...the filler inside should look a little slushy when it's full.

Do you happen to have V2 batteries? Sometimes people complain about cartos not making electrical contact on the V2 but working on other KR8 batteries. Seems the center pole of V2 batteries can be a bit low.

See the video here and hopefully it will help. I get my KR8 cartos and blanks from Vapor4Life and rarely get a dud and of the 3 duds I got, 2 were fixed as shown in this video. Look at the Quick Easy Fix sticky thread

They batteries are from vapor4life. The carts and liquid are from litecigusa. If that makes a difference.

LOL, I hear ya...

What I do these days...is just get the pharmacist to give me a 3ml syringe. Most will give ya one free...Walmart will usually give you a hand full for a buck. They'll have a needle with them that's pretty small for e-liquid but it'll work, and actully with polyfill cartos...they're easier to punch into the filler :)

Pull the plunger out of the syringe...drip about 1ml in...shove the needle into the filler and pack in the juice. A bone dry one will take pretty close to a full ml...what ever is left in the syringe I just shoot back into the bottle.

Mess free...and you can pack a hand full of them full in no time flat. When they're totally full....we're talking hundreds of puffs :)

Ok that worked with 1 cart, i havent tried the other 2. But it seems very hard to get vape out, almost like its really thick?

My guess is that your cartos just need to be fully saturated with juice. Once they get started wicking right they should be fine. Again, a bone dry KR808D-1 carto can hold quite a bit of liquid on the first fill. I've run juices as thick as 50/50 and they do alright.

Occasionally I run across an all PG juice that just doesn't vape well (but still gives great throat hit and flavor). Usually menthol...not sure what can be done for a juice like that other than an e-cig that puts out more wattage/heat or possibly a low resistance carto.
