Anyone else get niggles when using this stuff?

What I've noticed vaping 100% VG.

-Bad problems with my gut. I thought I got food poisoning or something but it was the VG.
-Nose and throat get a plasticy thick film coating (same as if you put glycerin on your skin but decided to pour it in your sinuses instead).
-Head on my vivi nova clearomizers die after only 2-3 refills. The coils don't light up fully anymore. Dry burning doesn't help.
-If I use it with cartomizers they seem to produce a burnt taste quicker. (kills cartomizers after only 1 fill).

I like the heavy vape of VG. But other than that I haven't really noticed any benefit to using it but mostly problems instead.

How are people usually vaping this? Dripping with an atomizer just occasionally? Seems to be finnicky stuff that wears equipment fast. Not really a vape for convenience sake.

If I wanted to use 100% vg with a carto tank is that possible? Need big hole punches and more time for saturation? I have a bunch of 100% vg so I will have to moderate how much I use it I guess. I won't throw it out. But I've decided to move to carto tanks. What's the best way to vape this? Seems too finnicky and mucks stuff up to vape it heavily all the time.

I agree with you mostly. Dripping is the way to go with high VG juices. The other only viable option is RBA. The vivi nova can be rebuilt to accept VG juice better.

Another option to help it wick is just to warm it up a little. That helps thin it out a little but, that's really a temporary fix though.

I use 100% VG and use Smok cartomizers and carto/tanks (2 holes punched in cartos).
My cartomizers and carto/tanks last many refills. I get about a week on a carto with heavy use. Once you burn a carto, you might as well figure it isn't going to last long. The key is to learn just how often to top off to prevent burning on a carto. A tank you don't have to worry as much as long as you've primed it properly. I did have a lot of problems using VG with Boge cartos - the wadding is too dense.

Never really noticed a problem vaping when it's colder. We don't get sub zero here, though.
