Problems with Aspire BDC tank

I just bought this set up today. It's an aspire Bdc tank and SS Vapes cheapest battery (that still cost $23). I bought this today because I was determined to buy no more cigs. I also wanted something to hold me over until my stuff from fasttech got here.
Anyway I was sitting here kind of playing with it and I unscrewed the bottom and spilled the liquid all over me. I cleaned it up with a slightly damp paper towel. I mean slughtly damped..It only had the water on it from drying my hands.
I put it back together and now it won't hit. The hits are dry and almost non existent. I'm at work so I can't do much and I don't have any back up coils.
This is why I gave up vaping before. I always seemed to get the duds or something and it was more of a problem than what it was worth. I don't chain Vape or anything like that. I was simply messing with the beauty ring because there was a tiny gap that was driving me nuts.
Help please!

I'm also quite upset that I paid $13 for a tiny amount of liquid to just spill it all over my shirt.

check that the battery contacts are clean first, then try a few primer puffs by holding your finger over the airhole.

Thank you. I let it sit upright and it seemed to work a bit better after a few minutes. I then put the battery back on the charger because it really hasnt been charged since I bought it.
I ordered a better battery so I hope that helps.
