Problems with Edit Post and Reply with Quote

Which browser are you using? Are you having the same problem on other browsers?

I normally use Internet Explorer 11. I just now brought up Firefox. My first attempt at Reply With Quote seemed to work, but I backed out of it. The subsequent attempts act the same as IE. The icon next to RWQ spins with the clock-like indication. It's the same in IE.

Which forum skin are you using? Perhaps it could be related to that, it's worth a try to switch skins and see

In my googling I found mention (in a very UNhelpful support article) of "reply with quote" not working on a vB forum but using a new tab it would work (so either right-click on "reply with quote" and open in new tab, or center click on it if your mouse supports that)

It's not a solution, but if it works it will at least provide you a workaround for the time being

Hey, DreamWithin...thanks for the tip. It does work. I'll check the style chooser and see what happens. I have used Kirsch 2 nearly exclusively for 3 years. The non-working replies have only been the past couple of weeks(?)...perhaps coincident with the site changing hosts(?).

Edit: I tried a few other styles and no change...though I didn't restart the browser in-between changes.

Well, I'm glad I could be of some use, anyway Like I said, when I found mention of the issue on another forum there was no mention of the solution (the poster almost immediately wound up in a flame war with the staff member who was not being particularly helpful). At least it gives you a temp workaround

The skin thing was a desperate suggestion, I didn't think it would work but figured on the off chance . . . oh well
