Problems with Innokin itaste v3

Hey there,

I just got my first vw battery, the itaste the other day and today it started to fire on its own and then
blink green a few times. It will stop and then fire again, or turn off. It also fired and wouldn't let me turn it
off (freaked me out a bit) until I was able to turn it off eventually. So I'm not using it for now (disappointed).
When I plug in the USB it will stay firing until I take it out.
So has this ever happened to you, and is there a fix or should I just send it back? I already contacted the vendor
but I would love if there was an easy fix for this.

Will give you a prize for helping (not really, you get showered in virtual hugs)

Cheers

I think it would be best to just send it back because it sounds faulty. I have the iTaste vv 3 also. Had a lil over a month and haven't had any issues with it. I don't think there is any way to fix yours other than having it replaced. But I'm not an expert with these things and I hope that there is someone here that knows something that I don't and can help you. Best of luck to you.

Sounds like faulty circuitry to me. I have the same battery and noticed the power bitton got stuck if I pressed it at certain angles. (Like depressing the corner and not the middle of the square...) perhaps that is it? If not id exchange it if you can. The itaste vv 3.0 has been a really good battery for me. Good size for traveling (bar hopping, driving, etc) and can hold close to a full day of power. Approx 250-300 hits whalen set at 7-7.5 watts. Recently ive been vaping at 7.5-8.5watts, so I get about 225 hits before I need to recharge.

Hey guys, thanks for the input.

I sent it back today, I figure it's not something I could fix (can barely build a single coil :?:) It worked great while it lasted, about a day and a half.

So it's back to a basic ego battery til then, at least it's something! I can see why it's ideal to build up the vaping gear arsenal.

Haha! It crossed my mind that there was a ghost trying to vape my new goods! (Get your own, dammit!)

And now the wait. Sigh.

But virtual hugs for you all!
