So I purchased an IPV D2 mod the other day. I really love how it looks and operates. Except for one thing.

I also have an IPV3 and a Kanger subox mod. I vape from a Maganus tank with 90VG juice @ 40watt.

On the IPV3 and the SUBOX its a nice, warm vape with full flavor at 40w. On the IPV D2 @ 40w, it is cooler and less flavor. Its almost like its about 10 watts off??

Anyone have any suggestions?

Cooler will cause less flavor. Have you tried adjusting wattage up to find a match point or are you just guessing at 10w?
I have several Brands of mods and yes, some will act differently at the same wattage settings. This is not necessarily a problem with the mod, but could be an indicator of a problem.
Ramp up or pre-heat programming could be different from one mod to another.
A Few of the IPV releases show a Higher output for the first second when fired - like a Boost. Some Mods are a bit more sluggish in starting to heat.

I would suggest a little testing and adjustment to see just how different it really is and if it will be a problem.
Most ECF member responses on the D2 are very positive so far. Mine will be in on Monday and I'll be checking it against my SX mini M Class.
