Problems with leaking

Hello I just got into rebuilding like 3days ago . My first build was a dual coil it was .6 ohms on a igo-w then I rebuild my protank 2 head first few Vapes was fine good vape good taste then it started gurgling took the tank off cleared it five or so more vapes it started again . I used cotton balls,cotton,yarn Idk what the problem is it just keep happening. Useing 28 g wire so I was thinking of making the cotton wick a bit thicker if some 1 knows what's the problem is I could really use the help lol cause its hard to drip and drive its just as deadly as drinking and driving lol

Generally if you are getting gurgling or leaking issues in a BCC like the protank you have insufficient material in the opening for the wick/juice interface. If you are happy with the coil and wick you have in the protank now but are getting gurgling make sure you have the stem pushed all the way down on the base as this would leave a larger than normal opening and problem solved. if the stem/tube is pushed down all the way onto the section that holds the coil and the silicone basket is in good shape you can add a touch of cotton or thread of silica just to the two openings on either side to bridge the gap without changing the coil or wick out. the other option is to just use cotton balls threaded through the coils and either fluff it till it stops flooding or use a thicker piece. You'd be surprised by how little cotton you need. Again. This is assuming you are getting flooding into the coil from the wick and not flooding into the tube from the basket seal.

Rebuilding protank heads are a bit tricky. People use micro coils and cotton mostly. You need to make sure your coil leads are not burning the rubber grommet in the bottom of the coil. There are some tricks for making sure your micro coils don't have lot legs search you tube for dark zero micro coil it's a really good video and much of what is discussed can be used to build an awesome coil for your protank
