Hi all,

Just today I was vaping on my Riva UNC and noticed it would not shut off when I was done with a puff. It got super hot and I heard the sizzle from the atty I had on it at the time.

No matter how much I tried hitting the button, the Riva stayed on and the Battery was almost boiling hot. I used my shirt to unscrew the atty and waited for it to cool down to see if this was a button fluke.

The Riva seems to be dead now. It won't charge, won't turn on. I was hoping to buy a replacement from Liberty Flights but it looks like they are either out of stock, or they no longer make these.

This was my first E-cig I have had since late November. Is this a common happening? I'm still new to the vaping world and have no idea how long these are suppose to last, or if a battery dies, if this is how it goes… I was kind of hoping it would have lasted a lot longer than this.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Just because they sell extra low ohms doesn't mean that they're safe.Since Rivas and egos don't have alot of safety features, I don't go below 2.0 myself.

If I wanted more vape, I would move up to a 5v PV with safety features, and safe batteries. You're vaping at very high watts- check out this chart:Imageshack - unled66.jpg
