I bought a baby beast and a big baby beast tank because I wanted a hassle free vape once in awhile and give me and my RTAs a break.

Problem #1: The silicone insulator under the fill cap swells and bulges up so that I can't close the cap after I fill. The vendor said to let it dry a day and it will shrink back to normal size. It sounded like he was aware of this problem. I tried his suggestion and it worked but if there hadn't been a spare with the tank, I would have had to wait a day to use it. That's not right. I now fill from the bottom but that causes another problem.

Problem #2: On both tanks every time I remove the bottom cap/deck the coil head stays attached to the air shaft and is too tight for me to remove with my fingers even with a rubber gripper. I have to gingerly unscrew it with needle nose pliers and of course that could ruin the threads.

I was wondering if anybody else was having either of these problems and might have some suggestions.

Thanks.

Ah sorry for the hassle. Neither has happened to me yet. Also the BB that came with my AL85 did come with an extra round white top fill thingy, so not sure why you didn't get one too.
Hey Eskie, I got an extra insulator with both my tanks and am swapping them out when one swells. I shouldn't have to do this. :(

You want to switch tanks. :D

That's so peculiar. I never experienced swelling from that silicone stopper. I have experienced it become off-centered and raised slightly. Have you tried gently pushing it around with a blunt instrument?
Figgers this would only happen to me.

Yes, I've tried to gently press it back in place and got mad at it and used brute force but it just won't stay in place. I even tried to force the cap shut with it bulging hoping it would force it back in place but nope. :(

And draining batteries. If the flavor wasn't as good as it is, I wouldn't be messin with it...and they look cool too.

I know. I just hate factory coils (even though these happen to be really good ones) and I only have the BB so I can vape that down during a commercial break. Not sure it's worth investing in the BBB as I like my RTAs. I'll probably keep this one in the drawer, but I'm not doing a big stock up of coils for it.

The nice thing about the BBB is it comes with the rebuildable deck. It's a bit of a pita to get the wick tails down into the tiny holes you can't see :D but again the flavor makes it worth it.

The flavor holds up with the RBA? Interesting solution. I usually hate those tiny RBAs (probably because I'm too clumsy to work with them). I know I can use the RBA on the BB if I get the kit with the replaceable glass. It doesn't really add volume, but the extra height of the RBA can be accepted.

I think the flavor is better with the RBA deck but the flavor with the premade coils is good too. It's nice to have that deck when & if we can't get premade coils anymore.

I didn't know there was an RBA deck for the BB. Do you know where off the top of your head. I can google it if you don't. :D

Same RBA. You just need a taller piece of glass that's supposed to come with it so the height on the BB will accommodate the RBA.

Really? I thought I heard or read that the RBA wouldn't fit in the BB. (I guess because of the glass)

So...I googled replacement glass tube for the BB but couldn't find anywhere that supplied the glass for using the RBA, only replacement glass for using the premade coils. :(

Howdy tmcase!!! Never had the #1 problem you mention but the #2 one happens all the time to me. What I do is grab it by a paper towel by the bottom threads that attaches to the base. Its worked so far for me.

Hey celti, good to see you. It's been awhile. :)

You must be stronger than me or I'm screwing that coil way too tight.
