After fooling around for an hour with my rsst and reading ecf I kept getting shorts and no Idea why. I went through about ten coils before I messed with the center pin. I had it set like most other heads ive seen where the center pin is just slightly poking out the threads. Well as soon as I drew the center pin back flush or even below the threads it worked prefect. Anyone else have this happen lol?

Yup. Had one arrive recently and kept getting 0.0 ohms on my coils. Took the dang thing apart and some flash left over from manufacturing ended up in the center pin threads. Removed all the flash and it's working great. Try taking it completely apart and check for any loose metal around the center pin.

Due to the design of the center post on the RSST, and also the AC9, it needs to be attached to the mod a little differently than other RBAs. Here's how I do it. First, back off the center post, from the top side, enough so that the RSST will screw down flush to the top of the mod. After the RSST is screwed onto the mod, gently turn the center post, from the top, with a phillips screwdriver, until you feel the post contact the center post of the 510 connector on the mod. Give it a little snug with the screw driver.

This is kind of what I was wondering
